Savannah Chrisley freezes eggs to avoid rushed motherhood

Savannah Chrisley on delayed motherhood

Savannah Chrisley seems like wanting children at the perfect time in her life, and has frozen her eggs to wait for it.

“In the past few months, I spoke about how I was going to see a doctor about freezing my eggs. I went to that first appointment and, wow. What a journey that was,” the Chrisley Knows Best star began on the Tuesday, Sept. 24 episode of her podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.

The 27-year-old reflected on the experience of receiving an ultrasound and going through endometriosis.

“It’s also very tough as a woman. I am 27 years old, I always had this dream. If you’ve grown up in the South, you know. You have kids young, you get married young,” she explained. “It’s just a thing that has been.”

The reality star, who is right now looking after her minor siblings, Grayson, now 18, and Chloe, 11, also wants her parents Julie and Todd Chrisley, who are currently serving prison sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion, to be a part of the journey.

“Obviously with my parents’ situation, I want my parents to be a part of that journey. I also don’t want to feel rushed to have a kid because, let’s face it, it’s 2024,” Chrisley said of one of the reasons behind her wait on motherhood.

“And I know there are a lot of things that I want to accomplish in my life. And I don’t want to have to feel the pressures of, ‘I have to have a kid right now. There’s this ticking time bomb.’ That works for some people and that’s totally fine,” she later added. “But for me, there are some things I wanna do in Washington.”

Whoopi Goldberg supports Taylor Swift after Travis Kelce’s fans slammed her

Whoopi Goldberg has recently spoken in favour of Taylor Swift after Travis Kelce’s fans blamed the singer for her boyfriend’s “sluggish start”.

Earlier, Travis reportedly appeared miserable on the sideline in a clip which went viral on September 22 as the songstress was not seen at the game for the first time.

Some football fans were quick to slam Taylor for “taking his mind off the game”.

Whoopi defended the singer and said on her The View show, “Grow up, y’all! Grow up! Stop putting this on her. Your team is fine, your team is doing well. Shut up!”

The Sister Act star continued, “It’s insane. Listen, this is a guy whose doing movies now, he’s doing television commercials, he’s doing all kinds of stuff.”

“He might have been a little busy, and maybe he’s not 12 anymore, okay? He’s still a viable player,’” stated the show’s host.

Whoopi believed that it was Donald Trump supporters who lashes out at the singer.

“I am blaming MAGA. I think it’s them because they’re mad, she is not supporting you-know-who. They’re putting all of this on her!” she noted.

Another co-host Sunny Hostin agreed with Whoopi and said, “I love your point, though. It’s probably the crazy MAGA people that are upset about this.”

Whoopi however pointed out, “Yeah, because why else would this suddenly be an issue?”

“And she’s also busy! Sorry y’all, she’s not thinking about him!” claimed the Ghost actress.

Michael Strahan on becoming a grandfather

Michael Strahan does love being a grandparent, but doesn’t want to be called “grandpa”.

The Good Morning America co-anchor, who became a first-time grandfather on September 22 when his eldest daughter Tanita Strahan gave birth to baby boy Onyx, explained why he does not want to use the customary name as he starts life in the new family role.

“It’s the most amazing feeling ‘cause I don’t feel old enough,” the 52-year-old told Jimmy Fallon during a conversation on The Tonight Show Sept. 23. “Everyone’s like, ‘What is he gonna call you?’ I don’t know. I almost want to do a survey.”

When the late-night anchor suggested he can be called “Papa,” but Strahan preferred “Gap-pa,” a reference to his famous gapped teeth.

Despite being indecisive of what he will prefer to be addressed, being a grandfather is something that makes him “happy”.

“I’m so happy for my daughter Tanita and Calenta [Mincey], her boyfriend,” the former NFL star expressed, calling baby Onyx a “great addition to the family.”

Michael, who shares Tanita, 32, and son Michael Strahan Jr., 31, with ex-wife Wanda Hutchins, as well as 19-year-old twins Isabella and Sophia Strahan with ex-wife Jean Muggli, announced the new born’s arrival on Fox NFL Sunday on September 22.

“It’s really special because I know you guys have gone through this,” he told his co-hosts, who are all grandfathers. “Now I’m just happy to be able to join you in that club.”

Prince William’s former aide accused of government leaks

Prince William’s former private secretary, Simon Case, is under mounting pressure to resign from his position in the British government amid accusations of media leaks.

While largely unknown to American audiences, Case’s name carries weight among dedicated followers of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle due to his past role at Kensington Palace.

He served as Prince William’s most senior aide during the period when tensions between the brothers began to escalate and was also the recipient of an infamous email accusing Meghan of bullying.

Now, Case finds himself in the spotlight once again, facing allegations of leaking information to the press.

However, the Cabinet Office has firmly denied the claims, calling them “categorically untrue.”

The unfolding saga surrounding Simon Case, Prince William’s former private secretary, is likely to resonate in Montecito, California, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now reside.

The controversy ties back to a pivotal moment detailed in Harry’s memoir, Spare, in which he passionately defended Meghan against allegations of bullying.

In 2018, Meghan was accused of driving two personal assistants out of the royal household and making life difficult for a third.

These accusations were outlined in an internal email sent by Jason Knauf, then Kensington Palace communications secretary, to Simon Case, who was serving as William’s top aide.

This connection has cemented Case’s place in the minds of Sussex supporters, who believe the palace was orchestrating a campaign against Harry and Meghan.

With his now facing his own set of allegations, rumors of media leaks have further fueled suspicions among those convinced that the Sussexes were unfairly targeted by palace insiders.
