At least four people have been taken to hospital with injuries after some horses belonging to the Household Cavalry got loose during a “routine exercise” on Wednesday.

The animals, stabled in Hyde Park Barracks, Knightsbridge, have now been returned and are being treated following the incident.

The Household Cavalry , a corps of the Household Division, is the most senior regiment in the British Army and regularly takes part in major state occasions, such as the coronation of King Charles III and the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

A spokesperson for the British Army said in a statement: “A number of military working horses became loose during routine exercise this morning. All of the horses have now been recovered and returned to camp.

“A number of personnel and horses have been injured and are receiving the appropriate medical attention.”

The London Ambulance Service told the BBC that patients with horse-related injuries had been treated on Buckingham Palace Road, Belgrave Square, and the junction between Chancery Lane and Fleet Street.

City of London Police also shared the video with a note, writing: “At around 8.40am, we were called about horses that had become loose and were travelling through the City. Our officers have contained two horses on the Highway near Limehouse.

“We’re waiting for an army horse box to collect the horses and transport them to veterinary care.”

A cab driver named Robbie recalled seeing one of the horses covered in blood. “I was just outside Buckingham Palace on the Mall and heard loads of galloping and looked behind and there were about three or four horses,” he told BBC Radio London.

Next year’s Oscars are shaping up to be a thrilling competition among some of music’s biggest stars, with Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande all vying for a Best Supporting Actress nomination.

The 97th Academy Awards, scheduled for March 2, 2025, have sparked excitement as predictions suggest these pop divas could be in the running for the coveted award.

According to Variety’s Awards Circuit Predictions, all three artists are positioned to campaign for their nominations ahead of the award season.

Selena Gomez is already making waves for her performance as wife and mother Jessi Del Monte in Netflix’s musical drama, Emilia Pérez

Selena stars alongside a talented cast in the upcoming Netflix film, featuring Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Édgar Ramírez, and Adriana Paz.

The film tells the story of an underrated lawyer, played by Saldaña, who navigates a complex world where a large law firm is more focused on freeing criminals than delivering justice.

In a statement about the film, Karla Sofía Gascón described it as a unique blend of genres, saying, “You have a musical that is not a musical, an action movie that’s not an action movie, a drama that’s not a drama, a comedy that’s not a comedy.

It is such a great gift, and I’m so proud to be part of it.”

Emilia Pérez is set to premiere on Netflix on November 13 in the US, Canada, and the UK, promising viewers an exciting and innovative cinematic experience!

One particular snapshot from the event quickly captured attention, showing William looking ahead with what appeared to be a halo above his head—likely the result of light reflecting from a fitting.

Demi Lovato shares untold story about negative experiences in her career

Demi Lovato is ready to talk about all her difficult experiences.

In her new documentary Child Star, which marks her directorial debut, Lovato did not shy away from sharing her dark moments.

The American singer went on revealing the bitter truth about life and career, explaining how the fame impacted her mental health.

“I didn’t realize that it would have such a negative impact on my mental health,” the 32-year-old star said.

She continued, “And unfortunately, sometimes that looks explosive, like an incident where you punch your backup dancer on an airplane or you overdose from heroin.”

For the unversed, back in 2010, Lovato punched a dancer on stage where she was performing for The Jonas Brothers tour. The incident led to the Sorry Not Sorry songstress to go to rehab and take a break from music.

As revealed in her documentary, the Disney alum was abusing drugs and alcohol at the time, which caused her three strokes and risked a near fatal heart attack.

However, the dancer incident was the moment that she realised that this could not go on.

Lovato shared that creating the personal documentary gave her a chance to right her wrongs.

“Talking to people who knew me at a different time in my life was challenging because I wanted to apologize for my behavior,” the Camp Rock actress confessed.

Looking back at her past, the actress recognises “I wasn’t the nicest person to work with at times because I was struggling so much internally, and I was under a lot of pressure.”

This comes after the Grey’s Anatomy star shared in a recent interview that she’s in a “really good place” now and “figuring out” her sound to make her musical comeback.

Real-life Martha from ‘Baby Reindeer’ faces fear post-Emmys win

Fiona Harvey, who claims to be the real-life Martha featured in Richard Gadd’s true story, expressed fear following Baby Reindeer’s success at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.

After the ceremony, where the series received four accolades among its 11 nominations, she told the Daily Mail that she is afraid to leave her home due to the potential for attacks.

“I’m afraid to go outside out of fear of being attacked. Some weeks, I don’t leave my apartment,” Harvey shared. “I’m suffering from constant panic attacks, chest pains, anxiety, nightmares, depression, nervousness, stomach pains, loss of appetite, fear, and insomnia.”

Baby Reindeer won the Emmy for Best Limited or Anthology Series, and Jessica Gunning, who portrayed Martha in the Netflix series, took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series.

Additionally, Richard Gadd earned accolades for Best Actor in a Limited Series and Best Writer for his work on the project.

Harvey’s lawyer, Richard Roth, also spoke to the Daily Mail, describing the situation as a source of suffering for his client.

“The disparity in their treatment is obvious. Richard Gadd is now a multiple Emmy Award-winning star, thanks to Netflix’s fictitious ‘true story,’ while she continues to suffer,” he noted.

In May, Harvey and her legal team filed a $170 million lawsuit against Netflix, claiming she was defamed “on a magnitude and scale without precedent.”

She argues in the lawsuit that Baby Reindeer misleadingly labels its events as a “true story” in the first episode, which she describes as “the biggest lie in television history.”
