Prince Harry could face major challenge after completion of Nigeria trip

The Duke of Sussex, alongside his wife Meghan Markle, relocated from England to California nearly four years ago

An immigration lawyer suggests that Prince Harry could encounter a significant challenge when renewing his visa in the United States, following accusations of providing false information on his visa application.

The Duke of Sussex, alongside his wife Meghan Markle, relocated from England to California nearly four years ago, shortly after announcing their decision to step back as senior working royals and pursue financial independence.

The Heritage Foundation, a think tank group, has initiated a lawsuit against Harry after he disclosed drug use in his memoir Spare.

This revelation has raised questions about the accuracy of information provided on his visa application, particularly regarding past drug use. The case is currently under review by Washington DC Judge Carl Nichols.

Speaking to Express, a US attorney and UK solicitor, Charlotte Slocombe, has opened up about Harry’s current situation, revealing that he may face huge issues with his application going forward.

She said: There may be impact at renewal, if he previously did not hold a waiver and is now found to require a waiver of inadmissibility due to public disclosures, information, or changes of fact since his last application.”

Ms Slocombe noted how she believes Harry holds either an A-1 or O-1 visa, which, depending on the type, would play a role in admissibility issues. The first is usually issued to diplomats or government officials, while the second is for those with “extraordinary abilities or achievements”

She continued to tell the paper: “Such admissibility issues do not apply to the A-1 visa category but would apply to the O-1 and other categories, where he would be treated the same as any other applicant.”

Ms Slocombe went on: “If he was found to have an admissibility concern and was issued a waiver, then this will certainly impact a Green Card or US Citizenship filing.

“The waiver process is far more onerous for a Green Card filing than an O-1 visa and for US citizenship itself an applicant cannot show ‘good moral character’ if they have violated a controlled substance related law.”

Demi Moore shares how growing up has changed her perspective on parents

Demi Moore is now able to reflect back on the problematic aspects of her childhood.

The Substance actress shared rare insights from her childhood in a heart-to-heart conversation at The Drew Barrymore Show.

Talking about her childhood, the 61-year-old actress revealed that her parents let her drive a car before she could get a license at 13.

“Driving on the freeway, I mean, my parents would say, ‘Okay, here’s the deal. You can take the car. If you get stopped, you just have to say you took the car without permission.’ And they kind of saw that is a win-win for everybody, but that is lunacy,” she told the host.

The Ghost actress and Barrymore confessed fact that they “were both more the parent to our parents.”

This is not the first time Moore has opened up about what she now sees as a disturbing childhood.

In a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she shared a glimpse of a drug overdose incident that her mother Virginia had in the actress’ childhood.

“The next thing I remember is using my fingers, the small fingers of a child, to dig the pills my mother had tried to swallow out of her mouth while my father held it open and told me what to do,” Moore recalled.

The Disclosure actress told Barrymore that she is no longer angry at her parents and can love them despite recognising their faults.

“I accept that my parents did the best they could, and my mom did the best she could with the level of consciousness and awareness that she had at the time,” she said.

As Gladiator II is about to be released in a month, Ridley Scott teased a third instalment to round out the trilogy.

During a recent interview with a French magazine Premiere, the Oscar-nominated director spilled some beans about his idea of the Gladiator Three.

“With that, I’m already toying with the idea of Gladiator 3. No seriously! I’ve lit the fuse,” he told the news outlet ahead of the Gladiator II premiere set for November 15 internationally and November 22 in the US and Canada.

“The ending of Gladiator II is reminiscent of The Godfather, with Michael Corleone finding himself with a job he didn’t want, and wondering, ‘Now, father, what do I do?’” Scott continued.

“So, the next [film] will be about a man who doesn’t want to be where he is,” the 86-year-old filmmaker alluded to the plot of the third part.

Though Scott has only piqued the excitement with some hints, Paramount had no comment about the future of the franchise, which began with the Oscar-winning historical epic Gladiator (2000), starring Russell Crowe.

Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal as Lucius, who previously witnessed Maximus, portrayed in the original by Crowe, die at the hands of his uncle Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) in the first movie. Now an adult, Lucius is forced to enter the Colosseum to fight for the glory of the people of Rome.
