Cillian Murphy to reprise the role of Tommy Shelby in ‘Peaky Blinders’ movie

The upcoming Peaky Blinders film for Netflix will now also star Stephen Graham along with Cillian Murphy.

Stephan, who played the famous Hayden Stagg in the sixth season of the popular show, shared the exciting news himself while chatting with Deadline at Blitz premiere.

When asked to give updates about his upcoming project, the actor replied saying: “Peaky Blinders… yeah a little bit of Peaky Blinders.”

The Boiling Point actor is once again gearing up to join his fellow actor Cillian but this time for a Peaky Blinders movie.

Steven Knight, who previously wrote the screenplay for the periodic crime drama, will be writing the script of the movie, with Tom Harper being the director once again.

The first look of the forthcoming Netflix movie was released last month showcasing Murphy taking back the role of Tommy Shelby again.

While expressing his gratitude over reuniting with Tom and Steven, the Oppenheimer actor stated: “It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders.”

Besides Murphy and Graham, the Netflix movie will be bringing some new additions to the cast like Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan and Tim Roth.

Peaky Blinders movie was confirmed last year in June. The shoot of the film has already begun.

Ben Affleck stepped out for the first time after ex-wife Jennifer Lopez spoke on their divorce.

Ben Affleck displayed no emotion when he stepped out in LA this week after ex Jennifer Lopez commented on their divorce.

The 52-year-old actor refused to react to Jennifer classifying their decision to separate as difficult.

This was the first time Affleck was seen in public since Lopez’s bold photoshoot and her comments about their split.

The star was spotted wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans as he walked with his production crew, searching for a location for his new project.

When questioned about her separation from the filmmaker, the singer stated it was “f***ing hard.”

Jennifer was mindful not to mention her ex-husband’s name when she shared with Nikki Glaser how her life had blown up in her face this year.

The Atlas star said she needed to be alone after her split from Ben.

“You have to be complete if you want something that’s more complete,” the Ain’t Your Mama singer told Nikki.

She also shared that she does not need to depend on another person to be happy and needs to find happiness within herself.

Married for two years, Ben and Jennifer decided to split back in April.

On August 20, which also happened to be their wedding anniversary, Lopez officially filed for divorce.

‘Rust’ screening raises eyebrows among cinematographers and public

Rust, the film that led to the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, is set to premiere at Poland’s EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Cinematography Film Festival next month.

In October 2021, Hutchins was killed by a live round from a prop gun held by actor Alec Baldwin during a rehearsal, injuring director Joel Souza as well in the process.

The festival announced on Instagram that the world premiere is intended to “honour her [late cinematographer’s] memory and remind the world of her legacy.”

While no specific date has been disclosed, The Mirror US suggested the event will take place between November 16 and November 23.

However, the planned premiere has sparked controversy among Hutchins’ peers and the public.

Oscar-nominated cinematographer Rachel Morrison expressed discontent, “I’m all for memorialising Halyna and her beautiful work, but not by screening and promoting the film that killed her.”

Suzie Lavelle, known for her work on Hulu’s Normal People, echoed these concerns, urging, “Promoting a film that was shot with unsafe practices—leading to the death of its cinematographer—should be reconsidered.”

Public reactions have mirrored these sentiments, with many criticising the festival’s decision.

“The one festival in the entire world dedicated to the art of cinematography pulling this stunt is so tone-deaf. Honour the cinematographer, not the film that killed her and should never have been completed,” one commenter noted.

“To promote and celebrate a film that took the life of its cinematographer is unthinkable,” another user remarked.

Despite the backlash, the Rust premiere is still on the horizon.

Chase Stokes once ‘absolutely effed up’ his audition for ‘Stranger Things’

Chase Stokes didn’t earn his role in Outer Banks easily, he had to endure fair share of stress from his audition to get the role of John B. Routledge.

In a recent episode of Podcrushed, the actor opened up about his audition experience, revealing that he felt jittery knowing he would be auditioning in front of the same executives with whom he had previously “absolutely effed up” his audition for Stranger Things.

Stokes, 32, recalled that his first audition for Outer Banks went smoothly, and he was invited back the next day to meet with the executives.

“I show up the next day,” he shared, “and Jonas Pate, the creator and director of our show, walks in and says, ‘Hey, surprise!’ I was like, ‘What?’ he explained, ‘Surprise, they’re all here in the conference room. I didn’t want you to over-prepare because that might get you too in your head.'”

Feeling already rattled, Stokes entered the room and spotted the executives from Stranger Things, “I thought, Oh, I’m so screwed. There’s nothing about this that’s going to go well,” he recalled.

To clear his mind, he stepped outside and sat by the curb, sobbing. However, with his eye for talent, Pate encouraged him to return and give it his all.

The first five episodes of the fourth season of Outer Banks premiered on Netflix on October 10.

Selena Gomez drops adorable Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Easter egg in ‘OMITB’

The most recent episode of the hit Hulu show saw Taylor and Travis make a cameo in the most unexpected way

Selena Gomez proved she’s a “Swelce” at heart by giving a subtle nod to her bestie Taylor Swift and Swift’s NFL superstar boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in the latest episode of her Hulu show Only Murders in the Building.

In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, Gomez, 32, and her co-star Martin Short, 74, are seen sitting on a couch surrounded by dolls in a scene at the home of Melissa McCarthy’s character.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a life-size doll next to Gomez that looked eerily like Swift, sporting her golden tresses, signature red lipstick, and a jersey featuring Kelce’s unmistakable number, 87.

Gomez has been trying to get the multi-Grammy-winner to make an actual cameo in the series for a while.

Speaking to E! News back in August 2024, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum explained Swift, 34, was “too busy” for a guest role but would call “every day” asking for one.

Swift and Gomez’s friendship dates back to 2008 when they dated Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas respectively.

Their friendship has only grown over the years, and while Gomez hasn’t joined her BFF at any Kansas City Chiefs games, she did meet Kelce’s mom, Donna, during a recent Glamour cover shoot.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs tight end previously double-tapped an Instagram photo of Gomez and her beau, Benny Blanco, at a Lakers game in January.
