Matthew Perry donates to trust after death

Matthew Perry’s contribution to the world doesn’t seem to have stopped even after the actor’s death.

The late Friends star had left over $1 million in assets in a living trust before his death, as per legal documents by Entertainment Tonight.

The trust is named The Alvy Singer Living Trust, referring to the character Woody Allen plays in his 1977 film, Annie Hall.

The decided $1 million comes from the on-hand property the actor owned when he died, although his net worth was much higher than this.

Beneficiaries of the trust are Perry’s parents John Perry and Suzanne Morrison, his half-sister Caitlin Morrison, and a non-blood-related beneficiary named Rachel Dunn.

The trust enlists two females as executors, Lisa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan, with the former’s attorney filing the case.

Perry was discovered dead in Los Angeles, in his bathtub on October 28, 2023, in the afternoon.

Perry’s stepfather, Keith Morrison, was identified on the certificate as the informant, indicating that Perry was identified to authorities by the Dateline host.

Perry’s cause of death was concluded as the acute effects of ketamine, according to A coroner’s report released in December.

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko ‘having fun’ together

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko, who are partners on Dancing With the Stars, seem to be dating, but on a lighter note.

The season 33 castmates are “hooking up,” according to a source via Us Weekly, which also shared, “It’s casual for now, and they’re both just having fun.”

The insider’s reports come after Nader, a model mostly famous for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Savchenko, who has himself in the 11th season of the dance competition show, ignited rumours of romance or a relationship after fans started noting their flirty behaviour with each other.

The speculations increased when a TikTok video went viral earlier this week, featuring the pair getting intimate backstage at the show.

“Brooks and Gleb have been very flirtatious from the beginning of rehearsals,” the source added to their reports. “They aren’t dating, but they’re enjoying spending time together and getting to know each other.”

Nader has opened up on her chemistry with Savchenko earlier.

“I think that when you have that energy in real life, it’s easy to bring it to the dance floor every week,” the 28-year-old model said after performing a tango to Britney Spears’ Piece of Me with him on the show on September 17.

She added, “That will be a theme throughout the season. But it’s a huge bonus to actually really be into your partner. You have to be with this person sweaty and on top of them all day for five hours. Every day — not just show day. So it’s kind of nice that you like each other.”

Ellen DeGeneres on father’s OCD and multiple health conditions

Ellen DeGeneres shared thinking her father may have had OCD, while talking about being diagnosed with multiple health conditions she has been experiencing while getting older.

The host revealed, in her final Netflix special For Your Approval, that she was diagnosed with OCD while she was in therapy, which she started after facing toxic workplace allegations.

“I may have OCD because a therapist said so and I said, ‘Yes I am very organised,’ because I thought that was the O,” DeGeneres shared.

“I didn’t know what OCD was. I was raised in a religion, Christian Science, that doesn’t acknowledge diseases or disorders. So when I was growing up, nobody talked about anything. There was no discussion of anything.”

The comedian then related the symptoms to her father, and concluded he may have had the condition too.

“I look back now and I realise my dad for sure had OCD,” she added. “He would check the doorknob 15 times before we’d leave, he’d check the faucet 15 times, he would unplug all the appliances before we left the house because lightning could strike and it could catch fire. They say it could be hereditary.”

She also shared being diagnosed with “full-on” osteoporosis, and arthritis.

“I don’t even know how I’m standing up right now. I’m like a human sandcastle. I could disintegrate in the shower,” DeGeneres quipped.

Daniel Radcliffe on meeting late Dame Maggie Smith first time as a kid

Daniel Radcliffe recalled his first meeting with his late Harry Potter star, Dame Maggie Smith, when he was just a kid, after the actress died on Friday, September 27 at the age of 89.

The 35-year-old Radcliffe and Smith are mostly famous amongst fans for playing “The Boy Who Lived” and “Professor Minerva McGonagall” in the eight J.K. Rowling’s novel-adopted film series.

But the actor reminisced how he first met Smith on the set of the 1999 BBC miniseries David Copperfield.

“The first time I met Maggie Smith I was 9 years old and we were reading through scenes for David Copperfield, which was my first job,” Radcliffe shared with Us Weekly on Friday.

“I knew virtually nothing about her other than that my parents were awestruck at the fact that I would be working with her.”

He recalled, “The other thing I knew about her was that she was a Dame, so the first thing I asked her when we met was, ‘Would you like me to call you Dame?’ at which she laughed and said something to the effect of ‘don’t be ridiculous!’”

The star remembered how he first felt “nervous to meet her”, but was later put “at ease” by the actress.

“She was incredibly kind to me on that shoot, and then I was lucky enough to go on working with her for another 10 years on the Harry Potter films,” he gushed.

“She was a fierce intellect, a gloriously sharp tongue, could intimidate and charm in the same instant and was, as everyone will tell you, extremely funny. I will always consider myself amazingly lucky to have been able to work with her, and to spend time around her on set.”

“The word legend is overused but if it applies to anyone in our industry then it applies to her,” Radcliffe said of Smith.

“Thank you Maggie,” he added in the end.

Meghan Markle’s intense moment with mom Doria Ragland.

Unearthed footage has surfaced this week showing Meghan Markle giving her mother, Doria Ragland, what some have dubbed a chilling “death stare.”

The clip, originally recorded during a 2018 lunch at Kensington Palace, has been making waves on social media after being uploaded by a user named Kay Dorothy with the title “Meghan Markle’s true face revealed.”

In the video, the Duchess of Sussex is seen engaged in conversation with guests when Doria interrupts. Meghan quickly turns her head to fixate on her mother with an intense stare that has drawn significant attention.

A narrator comments over the footage, saying, “Look at the death stare Meghan Markle gave to her mother. This is the real Meghan!”

Reactions poured in from viewers, with one commenting, “Not okay,” while another added, “Turned to stone.”

A third observer noted, “Look at the way Harry is looking at her.”

The resurfacing of this clip comes at a tumultuous time for the Duchess, as she faces allegations from a current senior staff member who described her as a “dictator in high heels.”

Reports suggest that her colleagues are “terrified” of her “belittling” behavior, with claims of her “penchant for noisy tantrums” and “angry 5 a.m. emails” earning her the nickname ‘Duchess Difficult.’
