Drake celebrates Adonis’ 7th birthday

Drake seems to be a SpongeBob fan.

The 37-year-old rapper celebrated as his son Adonis Graham turned 7 on Friday, Oct. 11, choosing a SpongeBob-theme for the celebration, sharing several pictures with his son.

The One Dance hitmaker, born Aubrey Drake Graham, took to Instagram to share sweet father-son snaps on Sunday, Oct. 13 to mark the 7-year-old’s latest happy day.

The rapper shared two snaps, set against a Bikini Bottom-inspired backdrop featuring jellyfish and the iconic flower-shaped clouds from the cartoon. The pictures featured “Adonis’ 7th Birthday,” written over them, in classic SpongeBob style.

In the first picture, Adonis, dressed in a yellow SpongeBob shirt, stood beside his father, striking a serious pose that looked similar to Drake’s signature look. Drake had his arm wrapped around him in the shot.

The second photo captured a more lighthearted moment, showing both father and son beaming widely, with Drake pulling Adonis in for a closer, warm hug.

“Big Don.,” the father captioned the post.

Drake co-parents Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux.

After resolving paternity issues, the pair have developed a good co-parenting relationship over the years, as much as Drake even declared himself “co-parent of the year” on his track Champagne Poetry.

Kathy Bates shares weight loss milestone

Kathy Bates’ weight loss may have made her “exquisitely” happy during the 2024 Emmys.

The 76-year-old Oscar winner got candid about her seven-year weight loss journey in an interview with People, and opened up on her feelings after being able to do something she would have wished for years.

After stepping out for the 2024 awards show last month in a purple Armani gown, the American actress shared the ecstatic experience she had while shopping for a dress with her friend for the evening.

“We were in tears because everything I came out in just looked exquisite,” she told the outlet in October.

She further reflected on the comfort she felt while posing for cameras at the event. “The pictures on the red carpet were so different from any pictures I’d ever had taken on a red carpet,” she noted.

“I just felt so relaxed and ready,” shared Bates. “I knew I felt great, and I looked great.”

Bates also revealed how she managed to lose 80 pounds, and that was through diet and lifestyle changes, and then another 20 were dropped by using the drug Ozempic.

“There’s been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic,” she said. “But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough.”

The 41-year-old The Amazing Spider-Man and Tomas’ romance started back in March, when the ex-couple was seen on an intimate double date with songstress Phoebe Bridgers and comedian Bo Burnham in Malibu, Calif.

Pictures obtained by Page Six at the time captured the couple in a passionate engagement at Zinqué restaurant, where they were seen holding hands and hugging each other.

At the time, a source reported to the Us Weekly that the relationship between the Hacksaw Ridge actor and the spiritual mentor was still in its early stages, adding that Garflied “appreciates the fact that Kate is very different from other women he’s dated.”
