Death in Paradise fans works out the replacement of Ralf Little

Death in Paradise fans recently worked out the replacement of Ralf Little on the BBC show, cracking the new lead detective.

According to their rumored speculations, fans have predicted that it is the Doc Martin star John Marquez, who could be a potential candidate to sign up for the said role.

John, who previously served as the Tom Lewis on the BBC detective drama for two episodes back in 2017, could make a return as a new character.

Despite his character’s untimely death on the show, fans are convinced that the actor might be a great fit to fill in the shoes of Ralf Little.

According to The Mirror, one fan speculated, noting: “I think John Marquez who played PC Joe Penhale in Doc Martin would be brilliant as the new Detective Inspector.”

Whilst a second chimed in, adding: “He can’t be the new DI because he was killed in series 6 episode ‘man overboard’ in Death in Paradise.”

Meanwhile, a third quipped: “You guys have obviously never watched soap operas. There is always a way to bring them back as a different character or maybe elude to the resemblance to the previous deceased character.”

For the unversed, Ralf bid farewell to the show with in a rollercoaster of events towards the end of the series, leaving “hand-in-hand” with Florence Cassell, played by Josephine Jobert.

However, producers are yet to comment on the subject, leaving a wide room for questions.

Ryan Reynolds on childhood and parenting

Ryan Reynolds compared the way he grew up to the childhood kids these days have, and how he implies parenting these days.

“I took a workshop on conflict resolution, and that changed my entire life,” the Wrexham co-owner told author and moderator Marcus Collins onstage while speaking at HubSpot’s INBOUND tech conference in Boston on Friday, Sept. 20.

“I just didn’t know how to process things that I felt. Because I [had a] scarcity mindset when I was younger. I didn’t know how to unfold that thing in your brain that conditions you just always to win or be right.”

“Something I love about [conflict resolution], and I know this is not very fancy, but what I love about it is that you can meet somebody where they are, and you don’t have to be right or

wrong,” Reynolds added. “You can disagree and still connect.”

“I have 4 kids and so far, none of them seem to have that [scarcity mindset], partly because they were born on ‘Easy Street,’ ” he said, laughing.

“Parents today are so different. We’re so soft,” he continued. “I don’t yell. I grew up with like — it was nuts, it was an improvised militia.”

“Now it’s like, I can go look at all my resources for parenting and remind myself how to be perfectly compassionate,” he explained.

Tia Mowry on her relationship with twin sister Tamera Mowry

Tia Mowry hinted at a strain in her relationship with her twin sister Tamera Mowry.

“Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce,” Tia, who parted ways from Cory Hardrict in 2022 after 14 years of being married, shared in a promo for her new We TV show Tia Mowry: My Next Act on Friday.

“It’s times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close and I could pick up the phone and call her,” she says, adding, “that’s just not where we are right now.”

The statement ignited rumours of a rift, but a source clarified to Page Six that Tia was only talking about physical proximity between the sisters.

At the moment, Tamera resides in Napa, California, with her husband, Adam Housley, and their two children, while Tia lives in Los Angeles with her son Cree, 13, and daughter Cairo, 6.

The Sister, Sister star also shed some light on her divorce, and she has been “slowly learning” most about herself after it.

“I came into this world with a twin and right after that I went into a 22-year relationship. So I have never been alone in my life. It has been quite a journey,” she explained.

Jennifer Aniston missing Friends and doing other sitcoms

Jennifer Aniston still isn’t over Friends.

According to The Sun, Aniston called playing “Rachel Green” in the hit 90’s sitcom the “biggest gift” of her life, sharing how she thinks she doesn’t think she will be ever as happy as she was then.

“Obviously Friends — that’s a no-brainer,” as per the outlet, the 55-year-old actress replied when asked about her favourite gig throughout her career. “I would have to say that is number one.”

She added, “Every single day I miss the schedule of filming . . . it’s the best schedule ever on the planet.”

Jennifer adds that she would be hesitant to work on another TV sitcom since it would never be able to compete with the Emmys, Golden Globes, and Baftas winning show.

“If I knew it would be the same experience as I had with those guys, yes, but I doubt that will ever happen,” she said at the SmartLess podcast.

Aniston starred on the series with Lisa Kudrow, 61, who played Phoebe Buffay; Courteney Cox, 60, who was Monica Geller; David Schwimmer, 57, who portrayed Monica’s brother Ross Geller; Matt LeBlanc, 57, as Joey Tribbiani; and Matthew Perry, the show’s iconic Chandler Bing, who died last year from a drug overdose.

Maren Morris cuts Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reference from ‘Rich’

Maren Morris left out the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reference and changed the lyrics to her song Rich after his recent arrest.

The 34-year-old singer debuted her new rendition of the song while performing at the Bourbon & Beyond music festival in Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday, September 19.

Instead of the lyrics, “Boy, I’d be rich, head to toe Prada / Benz in the driveway, yacht in the water / Vegas at the Mandarin, high roller gambling / Me and Diddy drippin’ diamonds like Marilyn,” Morris cut the 54-year-old music giant’s name on Thursday.

The songstress even reshared footage from the performance, taking to her Instagram stories on Saturday, September 21, and wrote “F— Diddy,” over it.

Morris’ added four extra k’s to the first word in the caption.

Morris tweaked the Diddy name-drop on her 2018 song for the first time. The song was part of her debut album, HERO.

In November 2023, Diddy was initially charged with misconduct and sexual assault after an extensive career in music. The rapper vigorously and openly refuted each and every allegation, but he has since been facing accusations back to back.
