Anne Hathaway apologizes for past behaviour ahead of new projects

Anne Hathaway is taking responsibility for her actions as she sent a “very personal” apology over an ‘awful’ interview in the past.

The Devil Wears Prada actress reached out to reporter Kjersti Flaa to set the record straight on a ‘cringe’ interview they had in 2012 while promoting Les Miserables.

The 41-year-old actress was caught off guard by the journalist’s joke and responded with brief, one-word answers and even avoided some questions in retaliation.

One week after re-sharing awkward interview, Flaa posted new TikTok video, reflecting on Hathaway’s apology.

She said, “I have to say, I was pretty shocked [by the apology].

“I had not expected her to reach out to me at all. I thought she was never going to even see that video, but she did and she did something pretty amazing.”

Flaa, who has been critical of Blake Lively after a car crash interview in 2016, claimed that the Princess Diaries alum apologized for her part, explaining that she was dealing with ‘herself’ at the time.

The journalist couldn’t help but gleam with glee over the Academy Award winner’s sweet gesture, which comes amid development of her upcoming films.

She continued, “Just talking about it makes me almost teary-eyed. I was just so grateful that she did that.

“It was a very personal note and we decided that I wouldn’t share exactly what was in the email, but I just wanted to share with you guys what she did because I thought that was just so amazing.”

On professional front, the actress confirmed that a third Princess Diaries film is officially in the works.

“We knew we were doing something wacky,” said Reeves, who played SWAT officer Jack Traven, the character that boards a bus rigged to detonate a bomb if its speed drops below 50 mph.

“I was behind the wheel of a projectile, so I was just happy to be alive at the end of the day,” joked Bullock, who portrayed Annie Porter, a passenger on the bus who helps prevent its explosion.

The award-winning Speed proceeded with a sequel in 1997, Speed 2: Cruise Control, starring Bullock alongside Jason Patric and Willem Dafoe, which was a box office bomb.

On the work front, Reeves will reprise his role as John Wick in the 2025 Ana de Armas spinoff, Ballerina, and play an angel in Aziz Ansari’s upcoming Good Fortune.

Meanwhile, Bullock’s upcoming projects include a sequel to Practical Magic, co-starring Nicole Kidman.

Donna Kelce cannot ‘wait to see’ Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Halloween costumes

Donna Kelce stirred some curiosity among Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fans as she  hinted at couple’s secret plans.

The mom of two revealed that while she is clueless about the matter, there is something brewing for the upcoming spooky season by the lovebirds.

“I can’t wait to see what it’s going to be,” she told People Magazine at the 2024 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday, October 8th. “They’re tight-lipped, they don’t tell us anything.”

Donna, who was one of the honourees at the award show, shared that she is very excited to see what the couple might dress up as for Halloween.

The 72-year-old was recently featured on the cover of Glamour magazine along with Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell’s mom Maggie Baird, and Selena Gomez’s mom Mandy Teefey.

Donna also told People that the cover came as a surprise to sons but they were both very supportive.

“I wasn’t allowed to tell them. But basically they’re very happy with anything and they support me in whatever I do, so they’re just, they’re like, ‘Mamma. Wow.’ It’s like one of those shocks for me too.”

Mentioning Travis’ popstar girlfriend, she added that Taylor was “very, very supportive of me also.”

This comes after Donna previously told Page Six that she thinks the tight end and Anti-Hero hitmaker are a perfect match for one another.

“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she.”

Dylan O’Brien recalls life-altering incident on set: ‘I’ve never forgotten’

Dylan O’Brien says there is ‘nothing wrong’ in saying, ‘No, man, I’m going to look after myself’

Dylan O’Brien opened up about the incident that altered the course of his life.

The 33-year-old actor shared that since his near-death experience on the set of Maze Runner, he has learned to stand up for himself.

“It’s taught me that, at the end of the day, in these spaces, you have your own back, and that’s the most you can rely on,” he told Men’s Health on Monday, October 7th.

“I know the person I am, and the character I bring to set, and the way I treat people and the way that I treat a workspace, and I know I’m not difficult. I know I’m not an a–hole,” said the Teen Wolf alum.

During the filming of the final instalment of the movie in Vancouver, the Maze Runner actor performed a stunt that threw him off a vehicle, causing a concussion and facial fracture, among other injuries. The movie was put on hold in 2016 because of the incident and resumed filming the next year.

“I know I was trying to protect myself that day, and so I’ve just never forgotten that,” O’Brien said of the unfortunate day.

He reflected that since the accident he’s “approached everything differently, particularly with regards to standing [his] ground on set.”

O’Brien continued, “It’s very commonplace in the culture for young actors to be controlled, [and] that’s achieved by telling the young performers not to become “difficult” or “a pain in the a–.”

The Bumblebee star gave an advice to the emerging actors, saying, “Don’t let them manipulate you into thinking that is being difficult, because I can look at that day and know I was a 24-year-old kid who was raising concerns about how we were approaching things, and they were not listened to, they were not respected, then what happened, happened.”

O’Brien shared that after 13 years into his career, he was able “to build this armour” for himself, but “it’s a shame that it had to be that for [him]”.

However, he now recognises that there’s “nothing wrong” in saying, “No, man, I’m going to look after myself, I’m going to take care of myself.”
