Andrew Garfield not interested to become a dad after turning 40: Here’s why

Andrew Garfield has recently revealed he is hesitant to become a father after turning 40 a year ago.

Speaking to Esquire magazine, Andrew, who is currently playing a role of a father in We Live in Time movie, said, “I’m already a tired guy. I don’t want to be a tired dad in real life.”

Reflecting on parenthood, the Breathe actor believed, “Bringing a baby into the world is a huge deal, and shouldn’t be taken lightly by anyone.”

However, Andrew noted that bringing “new life into the context of my life, there’s a heavy burden there”.

Earlier in a 2022 GQ interview, the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor explained he was in a different place in life as he turned 40.

“The good news is, all my high school friends, we’re all celebrating [turning 40] together. But it’s interesting – I always thought I would be the first to have kids and settle down, and they’re all shacked up and a couple of kids deep, for the most part,” he mentioned.

The Under the Banner of Heaven actor pointed out, “It’s more about accepting a different path than what was kind of expected of me from birth, like ‘By this time you will have done this, and you will have at least one child,’ that kind of thing.”

“I think I have some guilt around that… Obviously it’s easier for me as a man,” he admitted.

Meanwhile, Andrew added, “Life is in charge. We’ll see what happens.”

Chloe Bailey voices support for Kamala Harris in 2024 election.

Chloe Bailey has officially thrown her support behind Kamala Harris for president, emphasizing the importance of representation in politics.

The singer who recently snagged the prestigious Musician of the Year award at Glamour’s Women Of The Year Awards in London, reflected on her personal journey and the significance of being able to vote.

In an interview with Glamour UK, she highlighted, “There was a time when people who looked like me didn’t have the opportunity to vote.

I’m a Black woman in 2024 who can make my voice heard—who can actually vote for another woman of color to possibly be president.”

She stressed the importance of participation in the electoral process, adding, “For this generation, no matter which way they go, it is important to place our vote and let our voices be heard.”

Bailey recently opened up about the progress society has made toward equality, celebrating her ability to walk freely and express herself through her music.

“I can walk down the street and into any store as a Black woman; I can make a living saying the things I choose to say in my music,” she remarked.

However, she expressed concern over the potential rollback of hard-won rights, particularly regarding abortion, stating, “It’s sad to see rights which were fought for and won possibly being ripped away again.”

Rachel Zegler expresses fear of AI replacing actors.

Rachel Zegler didn’t mince words as she voiced her concerns about fame and the growing challenges in Hollywood, including the rise of artificial intelligence.

In a candid interview with Variety, the 23-year-old Golden Globe winner shared why “being famous isn’t for the faint of heart.”

The West Side Story star, who skyrocketed to fame after beating out 30,000 actresses for the role of María Vasquez in Steven Spielberg’s 2021 adaptation, has faced intense criticism, including racist backlash over her casting as Snow White in Disney’s 2025 live-action remake and trolling over her political views.

“The reason I fell in love with this industry is not because of this town,” Zegler said of Los Angeles.

“In fact, I kind of can’t stand this town. I don’t like that there’s a town built around the industry that I work in; it’s stifling and isolating and weird. In New York, nobody gives a f**k.”

Reflecting on the racist backlash she faced after being cast as Snow White, Rachel Zegler remained firm in her stance, saying she doesn’t try to understand why “Disney adults” would have an issue with a Latina actress portraying the beloved princess.

In a recent interview, she revealed changes to the iconic line about her character’s “skin as white as snow” in the 2025 live-action remake. Zegler shared that this line will now reference a different version of Snow White’s story.

In this adaptation, the character survives a snowstorm as a baby, and her parents, the king and queen, name her Snow White to symbolize her resilience.

“One of the core points in our film for any young woman or young person is remembering how strong you actually are,” the actress explained.

Prince William ‘concerned’ over Meghan Markle’s absence of engagement ring

Prince William is reportedly concerned about the whereabouts of jewellery that once belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana, and was given to Meghan Markle.

Meghan, 42, received an engagement ring from Prince Harry, 39, in 2017, which was said to feature two diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal collection. At the time, Harry explained that the diamonds were set alongside a stone from Botswana on a simple gold band.

Less than two years later, the engagement ring underwent a redesign, with the band reportedly being updated to a thinner version. Meghan debuted the revamped ring, along with another, at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in 2019.

However, Meghan has been seen without her engagement ring at several public events this year, including a gala in May. It was later reported that the ring was “being repaired.” More recently, she was again spotted without the ring while attending the Invictus Games with Prince Harry last month.

A source told New Idea magazine that Prince William, 41, is supposedly concerned about the missing jewelry. The report comes amidst rumors of estrangement between William and his brother, Prince Harry, and Meghan, following comments the couple made about the Royal Family in a docuseries last year.

The source mentioned that Meghan’s engagement ring seems to have “vanished” and questioned why she would not proudly wear it at such a high-profile event in Germany, suggesting that it may have raised concerns within the royal family.

The insider added that the situation has “set off alarm bells at the Palace,” with William reportedly seeking information through mutual contacts to find out what’s going on.

Given William’s strong connection to his late mother’s legacy, the source explained that her jewelry holds special significance, and the prince remains protective of the memories tied to each piece.

The source said: “And it’s safe to say it has set off alarm bells at the Palace. [Prince William’s] putting the word out through mutual friends that he wants to know what’s going on.

“Not knowing where they are is disturbing for William.” It was then suggested that he is “always protective” of his late mother’s legacy, with her jewellery said to be considered an “important” part of that. The source said that the memories he has of her wearing each piece “will never go away”.
