Amanda Seyfried shares her views about her rescue dog, Finn

Amanda Seyfried has recently made shocking confession about her rescue dog, Finn.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, the Mamma Mia! actress said, “Pets give us purpose. No matter what we say, we can’t deny the fact that we need purpose.”

“And to have that responsibility of taking care of animals, who don’t have a voice and can’t really do much for themselves, it gives you so much more than we could ever give them, really,” explained the 38-year-old.

Amanda mentioned, “I don’t know what my twenties would’ve looked like without Finn. I really don’t know.”

“I don’t know how I would’ve navigated Hollywood. I mean, I stayed out of a lot of trouble, I think, because I had that guy to come home to,” stated the Mean Girls actress.

Amanda revealed she adopted her 15-year-old Australian shepherd while working on the set of the HBO series, Big Love.

Speaking to the same outlet in 2019, the In Time actress shared, “As soon as he was mine, like 24 hours after I got him, I realised something about me needed him.”

“He completely changed my life and helped me find my solitude and my independence.”

She told PEOPLE, “I took him home thinking I was going to, like, find a home for him and have him for a couple of weeks, but I fell in love with him right away.”

“I was just like, ‘I’m going to keep him safe,’ and then he just ended up keeping me safe,” she continued.

Amanda added, “I had struggled with a lot of anxiety and I have OCD, and my twenties were just hard in general, like anybody’s twenties are hard, so I think he grounded me in a way that nothing else could have.”

Kathy Bates shares weight loss milestone

Kathy Bates’ weight loss may have made her “exquisitely” happy during the 2024 Emmys.

The 76-year-old Oscar winner got candid about her seven-year weight loss journey in an interview with People, and opened up on her feelings after being able to do something she would have wished for years.

After stepping out for the 2024 awards show last month in a purple Armani gown, the American actress shared the ecstatic experience she had while shopping for a dress with her friend for the evening.

“We were in tears because everything I came out in just looked exquisite,” she told the outlet in October.

She further reflected on the comfort she felt while posing for cameras at the event. “The pictures on the red carpet were so different from any pictures I’d ever had taken on a red carpet,” she noted.

“I just felt so relaxed and ready,” shared Bates. “I knew I felt great, and I looked great.”

Bates also revealed how she managed to lose 80 pounds, and that was through diet and lifestyle changes, and then another 20 were dropped by using the drug Ozempic.

“There’s been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic,” she said. “But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough.”

The 41-year-old The Amazing Spider-Man and Tomas’ romance started back in March, when the ex-couple was seen on an intimate double date with songstress Phoebe Bridgers and comedian Bo Burnham in Malibu, Calif.

Pictures obtained by Page Six at the time captured the couple in a passionate engagement at Zinqué restaurant, where they were seen holding hands and hugging each other.

At the time, a source reported to the Us Weekly that the relationship between the Hacksaw Ridge actor and the spiritual mentor was still in its early stages, adding that Garflied “appreciates the fact that Kate is very different from other women he’s dated.”

Ethan Slater supports Ariana Grande’s Saturday Night Live gig

Ethan Slater seems to always be there for Ariana Grande.

Grande‘s boyfriend, although subtly, showed support for the music star over her Saturday Night Live hosting gig in the Saturday, October 12 episode.

The 32-year-old Broadway star took to his Instagram Stories to re-share footage from SNL‘s official account from Grande’s period on Sunday, October 13.

The 31-year-old songstress portrayed a Renaissance-era character trying to get the attention of the Prince (Andrew Dismukes). Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg, show’s alums, appeared in cameos, playing the part of the pop star’s parents.

Slater also liked SNL‘s post about Grande’s skit.

The popstar did her second gig with Saturday Night Live as a host in this weekend’s episode, which featured a name from the music world, Stevie Nicks.

Prior to her March 2016 debut as the show’s host, Grande had two previous musical guest appearances in September 2014 and March of this year.

Slater and Grande met each other for the first time during the filming of the forthcoming two-part Wicked film adaptation and word of their romance came out in July 2023, the same month Grande’s separation from Dalton Gomez was confirmed.
