Meghan Markle triggers debate as she gives herself a new title

Meghan Markle has sparked fury with her latest comment about herself at an event in Santa Barbara.

The Duchess of Sussex claimed she’s one of the world’s “most bullied people”, sparking reactions by giving herself a new title.

Prince Harry’s wife visited the Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara earlier this month, where she spoke to teenagers about her experiences with being bullied.

Larissa May, the co-founder of an advocacy group working with Girl Inc, revealed the Duchess opened up on being “one of the most bullied people in the world”.

However, Meghan’s claim has triggered a new debate as some royal commentators have flayed the Duchess, with Chloe Dobbs saying: “This is just the most pathetic thing that has come out of her mouth.”

“Tell this to kids who get beat up over and over again and are bullied by parents in abusive households.”

She, on GB News went on: “I mean, how pretentious are you Meghan Markle?”

Former BBC presenter Liz Kershaw claimed Meghan is not a victim of bullying for the most part and is actually just being “deservedly” criticised for her actions.

Kershaw went on slamming the Duchess for her alleged stunt, saying: “Most of the criticism has been negative, and I think she deserves it.”

Journalist Benjamin Butterworth said there is an “obsession” with Meghan Markle in Britain and some of the criticism she receives can be unjust.

He added: “We are quite aggressive towards her. We’re slightly obsessed in the media, whether it’s British or American media.

“I can imagine that’s not nice to be on the receiving end of. But I do think there’s something really off about going and talking to young girls, going and talking to young people and saying, ‘pity me’.

“You live a life of luxury unimaginable to 99.99 per cent of people on the planet, you should be telling those young people what they can achieve, not what they can fear.”

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s mother’s visit to Girls Inc. came months after she and Harry launched The Parents Network, which supports parents whose children have suffered or died due to online harms.

Comedian David Spade came up with a shocking revelation that Saturday Night Live characters were perceived as gay by the viewers.

In a recent episode of Fly on the Wall podcast, the actor revealed, “I did a character called Receptionist, where I was just being really aloof to people, like, ‘Oh, and you are…? And this is regarding…?’ And then people would be like, who’s that gay character you play.?'”

“I’m like, ‘I don’t think it’s gay,’ they’re like, No, you’re gay and it’s gay and every sketch you’re in is a gay person,” the actor stated.

Continuing with an instant humorous response, the podcast co-host, Dana Carvey said, “Why would your mom say that?”

Spade joked back “She thought I was coming out, when I look back, I’m like, yeah, I see it.”

He further clarified that the performances of the characters were not certainly about being characterised as masculine or feminine traits, but rather how his personality came across at the time.

“It’s just languorous, not any sexual orientation,” Carvey concluded.

William admits to Kate Middleton’s family’s competitive spirit: ‘ambitious blood’

Royal fans caught a glimpse of the family playing cards during Kate’s emotional video

James Middleton has disclosed that Prince William often concocted “excuses” to skip game nights with the Middleton family, as he found them to be “too competitive.”

Kate’s brother, 37, who lives in Berkshire, was about 13 when his sister began dating the future King. William frequently joined the family for dinners, but it appears no Middleton gathering was complete without a card game.

James mentioned that their family enjoys playing Racing Demon, a competitive version of Patience or Solitaire. However, whenever the cards appeared on the table, William reportedly seemed eager to find other tasks to occupy his time.

He shared this insight during an appearance on the Walking The Dog podcast, hosted by author and animal lover Emily Dean.

She said: ‘The Middletons are quite competitive and they love a game, don’t they?

‘And then you made poor William play, and he found it too competitive and actually used to make excuses.’

James responded: ‘It was after family dinner, we would be sat there and the cards would come out, and [he would] perhaps see if Ella needed a walk or make an excuse to get down from the table.

It’s no secret that ambitious blood runs through the Middleton veins, as Pippa and Kate enjoyed beating their opponents at school sporting events.

They were both on the hockey team as teenagers, though the Princess of Wales was team captain during her years at Marlborough College in Wiltshire.

Royal fans caught a glimpse of the family playing cards during Kate’s emotional video, where she announced the end of her chemotherapy after a tough year of battling cancer.

King Charles III, who’s making headlines for his royal tour to Australia, has not been allowed to ravel without his medical team.

The 75-year-old monarch will reportedly take two doctors along with him on his upcoming trip to Australia and Samoa, scheduled from October 18 to October 26.

Joining the royal entourage will be the cancer-stricken King’s two doctors, according to the Times. It emerged earlier this week that William and Harry’s dad will “pause” cancer treatments while abroad.

The much-anticipated trip, which marks the first visit of King Charles’ reign to a Commonwealth realm, will include “a number of concessions to prevent him from being overworked,” according to the outlet.

The monarch “will be monitored closely during the visit.”

A palace source, speaking to the outlet, claimed that the decision to pause his cancer treatment, which will resume when he returns to the UK, “followed doctors’ advice.”

The monarch was diagnosed with cancer following a procedure to treat a benign enlarged prostate in January.

Buckingham Palace announced that the King would begin treatment for cancer on February 5, which he was diagnosed with following the procedure. The palace clarified that the monarch’s cancer is not prostate cancer, though it did not specify the type or stage.

Popular rapper Eminem gets all shocked after hearing daughter Hailie Jade Scott’s pregnancy; it looks like the former wasn’t ready to take up the new title of ‘grandpa’.

Earlier on October 11, Hailie appeared in the recent episode of Just A Little Shady podcast, where she revealed how her father took the news of her pregnancy.

For the unversed, Eminem’s daughter unveiled the exciting news to her father by giving him a jersey which had ‘grand pa’ written over it.

Therefore, when she broke the news: “He was like, ‘Are you trying to call me old? Why are you giving me this jersey that says grandpa?”

“Then I hold up the ultrasound picture and he was like, ‘Oh my god. Wait, this is real? This is happening?”, added Scott.

The 28-year-old also shared that the people recording the video had no idea what exactly the plan was.

“It was actually really funny, too, because the person who was recording obviously had no idea that that was the plan,” Hailie continued. “They were thinking, ‘Oh we’re just getting some shots.’ So, their reaction we had to mute because they were like, ‘What the **** is going on here? Is this real?”

American rapper and song writer, Eminem married his high sweet heart Kim Mathers in 1990s. The duo welcomed their daughter, Hailie Jade in 1995.
