Jelly Roll on his first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting

Jelly Roll recalled his experience as a teenager of his first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

“Oh goodness. I don’t fully remember my first real meeting ’cause I was court-ordered at like 14,” the 39-year-old singer said during a conversation of his experience in AA and Narcotics Anonymous on Friday’s episode of Sirius XM’s The Highway.

“I don’t remember it as much as I should,” Jelly, originally with the name Jason Bradley DeFord, added.

“But, I definitely remember the first time that I found solace in those rooms, or the first time that I kind of got introduced to the concept of this and how much stuff I’ve taken from them rooms.”

He further continued reminiscing how he had “never been more inspired” than when “leaving an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting or a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.”

“I think everybody should experience one if you’ve never drank in your life,” the Somebody Save Me singer added.

“I still think that there is something from it that is, you know, the good ones are like good theater. They’ll make you listen, you’ll learn, you’ll laugh and you’ll cry.”

He even revealed to the host, Ania Hammar, that his experiences in AA and NA inspired his song, “I Am Not Okay.”

Taylor Swift non-serious reaction of working with Travis Kelce revealed

Taylor Swift appears to have turned down the opportunity for a Hollywood cameo.

Comedy legend Adam Sandler is looking to shake things up with his highly anticipated sequel, Happy Gilmore 2

The buzz surrounding the film is already electric, and Sandler’s latest move could send fans into overdrive: he wants Taylor Swift to make a cameo appearance.

According to insiders, Swift’s NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, has already signed on and started filming his scenes in New Jersey. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been taking acting lessons to prepare for his Hollywood debut.

But the real surprise came when Sandler’s team approached Swift with an offer. Initially, she thought it was a joke. “She started laughing when she was first told about the idea,” an insider revealed.

However, Sandler’s camp is serious about getting Swift on board. The couple are longtime fans of Sandler’s films, having watched the original Happy Gilmore multiple times.

“The idea of appearing in a film together sounds like a funny experience,” the insider added. Swift is still considering the offer, but if she agrees, fans are in for a treat.

“It would be hilarious,” the source said. “And Taylor knows how much this means to Travis. His acting career is something he really wants to pursue.”

Sandler’s appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast in August sparked excitement. He joked about initially envisioning Travis as his son in the movie. “The whole thing was to hang out with Travis.”

With golfing legends like John Daly confirmed and rumors swirling about Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Bryson DeChambeau, Happy Gilmore 2 promises to be unforgettable.

Steve Howey reunites ‘Reba’ co-stars Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman in ‘Happy’s Place’

Reba reunion in the new series Happy’s Place welcomed a new addition.

Ahead of the upcoming series’ premiere on October 18, creator Kevin Abbott revealed to TV Line that in addition to Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman, another Reba alum, Steve Howey, is joining the lineup.

According to a synopsis provided to PEOPLE by NBC, Howey, 47, will portray Danny, “a wealthy business owner whom Gabby (Peterman) meets at a dog park. To impress him, Gabby pretends to be Bobbie (McIntire), thinking it will make her more interesting—until he wants to hold his holiday party at the tavern.”

Abbott mentioned that they are trying to retain Howey’s role or hoping his character could return in the future, but as for now, he is currently slated to make an appearance in just one episode of Happy’s Place.

“We absolutely want to bring some of the old cast members back in very different roles than what they played on Reba,” Abbott shared with TV Line.

In the original Reba, Howey played Van Montgomery, Reba Hart’s son-in-law, who marries her daughter Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) after she becomes pregnant as a teenager.

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock relive wild moments from ‘Speed’

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock revved up nostalgia as they spilled the beans about their film Speed.

During Jan de Bont action flick’s 30th anniversary celebrations, the co-stars reunited earlier this week at Beyond Fest. They reflected on a particularly chaotic scene when they actually smashed cars on set.

“Don’t you remember that day on the bus?” the John Wick star asked Bullock, 60, according to IndieWire.

“When we were crashing through all the cars on the street?” he continued. “I remember we were a little under-informed. We were on the bus, driving near San Diego or something, set by the ocean, and all of a sudden, we were actually hitting cars. Boom! Boom! Everyone on the bus lost their minds. People were screaming!”

In Speed, Reeves, 60, plays LAPD officer Jack Traven, who teams up with passenger Annie Porter (Bullock) to prevent a city bus from exploding by keeping the vehicle moving at a minimum speed of 50 mph or else the bomb on board will detonate.

The iconic action movie also features Alan Ruck, Beth Grant, Dennis Hopper, Jeff Daniels, and Joe Morton.

Billie Eilish and Finneas’ reaction to mom Maggie Baird’s ‘Glamour’ honour

Billie Eilish and Finneas are proud of their mother Maggie Baird over her latest honour.

The 65-year-old actress shared with People how her star kids reacted to her being honoured as part of Glamour’s 2024 Women of the Year: The Moms issue, which was released on Oct. 3.

“They’ve been so sweet. They sent me flowers when the cover came out, which I was sort of shocked. I don’t think I even told them about it, to be honest,” she told the outlet during the Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Paradise Club at the Times Square EDITION in New York City.

“I’m a little bit quiet about these kinds of things. It’s really not my comfort zone. I mean, I am technically an actor and a comedian, but I’ve always been a little bit more comfortable under character.”

The mom also shared what really makes her speak up.

Baird shared that she feels “most comfortable” when she is “delivering food and talking about my passionate concerns about the climate.”

In her effort to address these concerns, Baird launched Support + Feed in 2020, an initiative aimed at combating both food scarcity and climate change.
