Scarlett Johansson regrets not listening to her makeup artist

Scarlett Johansson recently unveiled her ‘biggest beauty regret’ and asked everyone to avoid it if you can.

While recalling the terrible moment of her life, Scarlett revealed that she used the cortisone injection to treat a pimple which gave her a side effect. However, her make up artist warned her before she was jabbing one in her.

In conversation with E! News, she warned fans: “Never get a cortisone shot to get rid of a pimple. I was warned by a make-up artist about this years ago.”

While talking about her makeup artist, the Lucy actress said: “She told me about an actress who had a big scene coming up but had a pimple she needed to get rid of. So, she went to the dermatologist to get a cortisone shot to get rid of it and it left a huge crater.”

“Stupidly, I didn’t follow this advice and a year later got it done myself – and I can confirm it does leave a hole”, the 39-year-old actress added in a regretful manner.

She continued saying: “So, avoid it if you can. I’ve managed to massage it away over time but it’s probably one of my biggest beauty regrets.”

The Black Widow actress Scarlett Johanson shared her own skincare routine and also advised her fans and followers to develop one for yourselves too.

Ben Affleck stepped out for the first time after ex-wife Jennifer Lopez spoke on their divorce.

Ben Affleck displayed no emotion when he stepped out in LA this week after ex Jennifer Lopez commented on their divorce.

The 52-year-old actor refused to react to Jennifer classifying their decision to separate as difficult.

This was the first time Affleck was seen in public since Lopez’s bold photoshoot and her comments about their split.

The star was spotted wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans as he walked with his production crew, searching for a location for his new project.

When questioned about her separation from the filmmaker, the singer stated it was “f***ing hard.”

Jennifer was mindful not to mention her ex-husband’s name when she shared with Nikki Glaser how her life had blown up in her face this year.

The Atlas star said she needed to be alone after her split from Ben.

“You have to be complete if you want something that’s more complete,” the Ain’t Your Mama singer told Nikki.

She also shared that she does not need to depend on another person to be happy and needs to find happiness within herself.

Married for two years, Ben and Jennifer decided to split back in April.

On August 20, which also happened to be their wedding anniversary, Lopez officially filed for divorce.

‘Rust’ screening raises eyebrows among cinematographers and public

Rust, the film that led to the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, is set to premiere at Poland’s EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Cinematography Film Festival next month.

In October 2021, Hutchins was killed by a live round from a prop gun held by actor Alec Baldwin during a rehearsal, injuring director Joel Souza as well in the process.

The festival announced on Instagram that the world premiere is intended to “honour her [late cinematographer’s] memory and remind the world of her legacy.”

While no specific date has been disclosed, The Mirror US suggested the event will take place between November 16 and November 23.

However, the planned premiere has sparked controversy among Hutchins’ peers and the public.

Oscar-nominated cinematographer Rachel Morrison expressed discontent, “I’m all for memorialising Halyna and her beautiful work, but not by screening and promoting the film that killed her.”

Suzie Lavelle, known for her work on Hulu’s Normal People, echoed these concerns, urging, “Promoting a film that was shot with unsafe practices—leading to the death of its cinematographer—should be reconsidered.”

Public reactions have mirrored these sentiments, with many criticising the festival’s decision.

“The one festival in the entire world dedicated to the art of cinematography pulling this stunt is so tone-deaf. Honour the cinematographer, not the film that killed her and should never have been completed,” one commenter noted.

“To promote and celebrate a film that took the life of its cinematographer is unthinkable,” another user remarked.

Despite the backlash, the Rust premiere is still on the horizon.

Chase Stokes once ‘absolutely effed up’ his audition for ‘Stranger Things’

Chase Stokes didn’t earn his role in Outer Banks easily, he had to endure fair share of stress from his audition to get the role of John B. Routledge.

In a recent episode of Podcrushed, the actor opened up about his audition experience, revealing that he felt jittery knowing he would be auditioning in front of the same executives with whom he had previously “absolutely effed up” his audition for Stranger Things.

Stokes, 32, recalled that his first audition for Outer Banks went smoothly, and he was invited back the next day to meet with the executives.

“I show up the next day,” he shared, “and Jonas Pate, the creator and director of our show, walks in and says, ‘Hey, surprise!’ I was like, ‘What?’ he explained, ‘Surprise, they’re all here in the conference room. I didn’t want you to over-prepare because that might get you too in your head.'”

Feeling already rattled, Stokes entered the room and spotted the executives from Stranger Things, “I thought, Oh, I’m so screwed. There’s nothing about this that’s going to go well,” he recalled.

To clear his mind, he stepped outside and sat by the curb, sobbing. However, with his eye for talent, Pate encouraged him to return and give it his all.

The first five episodes of the fourth season of Outer Banks premiered on Netflix on October 10.
