HYBE in hot water over statement on Jungkook’s Super Bowl appearance

BTS sensation Jungkook did not joined Usher for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show

HYBE is facing backlash from BTS ARMY after their five-word statement regarding Jungkook’s absence from the 2024 Super Bowl.

According to Koreaboo, on October 9, the entertainment company managing BTS and Jungkook responded to criticism about their handling of the global star’s career with a terse comment to Ilgan Sports.

“We have nothing to say,” this only intensified fans’ frustration rather than alleviating it.

Upon hearing this response, the BTS fandom quickly expressed outrage, criticising the label for its lack of communication.

“Just quit the entertainment business, seriously,” one fan wrote.

“If Jungkook had declined, they would have used him for media coverage. Instead, HYBE failed to inform him,” another added.

Fans from other fandoms also joined in to highlight the issue.

“Even though I’m not a fan, it’s such a shame. The Super Bowl doesn’t just invite artists based on their Billboard or Grammy status; timing is crucial. If Jungkook’s solo career had aligned, the synergy could have been massive,” one commented.

“Didn’t they claim to have a hundred staff dedicated to BTS? If that many people messed up, I’d be furious. I’m from another fandom, but HYBE really screwed up on this one,” another remarked.

For the unversed, in late 2023, Jungkook dropped a collaboration of his song Standing Next to You with Usher.

Reports suggested they would perform together at the Super Bowl Halftime Show; however, Jungkook, 30, could not attend due to his military service.

Fans’ outrage has primarily focused on HYBE’s mismanaging the global star, further escalating with their rough response.

Kanye and Bianca Censori’s ‘strategic move to capture public attention.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly using divorce rumors as a strategic move to generate excitement for his upcoming album.

On Monday, multiple reports surfaced claiming that the couple had secretly ended their marriage “weeks ago,” with the rapper supposedly “ready to divorce” his 29-year-old wife.

However, just hours after the split claims made headlines, the duo was spotted together in Japan, sparking further intrigue.

Sources close to the couple suggest that the speculation surrounding their nearly two-year marriage is part of a calculated effort to promote Kanye’s new music.

Last month, he announced his forthcoming album Bully and debuted the track Beauty and the Beast at an event in China.

This follows the release of his album Vultures 2 in August, indicating that Kanye is keen to keep the spotlight on his creative endeavors, even if it means stirring up controversy in his personal life.

An insider has revealed to DailyMail.com that West and Censori are strategically using divorce rumors to generate buzz and maintain relevance as he promotes his upcoming album.

“They knew that, by doing this, it would create some buzz and make them relevant,” the source stated.

“They both know that people are just over them, and that her naked outfits are not enough to keep interest. Everyone has seen her naked now; there’s nothing left to wonder about.”

Bianca has often made headlines for her daring fashion choices, frequently stepping out in sheer hosiery and skintight bodysuits that leave little to the imagination.

In contrast, Kanye opts for more covered-up looks during their public outings.

However, the insider suggests that the couple may have turned to new tactics to capture attention, as the shock value of Bianca’s risqué wardrobe has diminished over time.

Justin Bieber had a close bond with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs during his teenage years

Hailey Bieber tried to stay under the radar as her husband, Justin Bieber, grappled with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest.

According to the Daily Mail, on October 9, the model stepped out for dinner at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles.

To avoid drawing attention, she accessorised her casual yet stylish outfit with a dark green New York Yankees baseball cap and sunglasses.

Recently welcoming her first baby with the Never Say Never hitmaker, Hailey layered her ensemble with a black leather jacket, a matching top, and track pants.

A reboot called ‘Paris & Nicole: The Encore’ was announced following its 20th anniversary

Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie go so far back that their infamous year-long feud during their The Simple Life era was nothing more than a natural “blip” in their relationship.

The childhood best friends, both now 43 and mothers of two, recently posed together for W Magazine as part of its annual The Originals portfolio, looking as glamorous as ever as they addressed the drama that captured headlines in 2005.

Nicole described their year-long falling out as “a little blip” in their 40-plus-year friendship. Paris echoed her sentiment, saying, “The world was definitely making a way bigger deal of it than it actually was.”

The duo, who became friends at just two years old and starred together on the hit reality TV series The Simple Life from 2003-2007, also revealed that the upcoming reboot won’t dive too deeply into the feud.

“There wasn’t a Will Smith and Aunt Viv sit-down,” Nicole explained to W Magazine. “For us, it was just a small part of our long relationship.”

Paris added that during that era, the media thrived on creating feuds between celebrities. “The tabloids loved to exaggerate and invent stories,” she shared.

The pair reconciled within a year and reunited on-screen for the final season of The Simple Life in 2007.

In early 2024 — 20 years after The Simple Life first aired — Sill and Bill (their nicknames for each other) delighted fans by announcing the upcoming reboot, Paris & Nicole: The Encore.
