Lisa Marie Presley on ‘trapping’ ex-husband Danny Keough with Riley

Lisa Marie Presley has made a series of shocking revelations and admissions in her posthumous memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, and one of them is how she trapped her ex-husband Danny Keough by getting pregnant with their daughter Riley Keough.

In a candid revelation, the late singer shared that after making what she described as “the stupidest decision” of her life by having an abortion, she devised a plan to conceive with her then-boyfriend Danny Keough.

She admitted to “planning, plotting, and scheming” to ensure she was ovulating during a visit to join Keough on a cruise ship, where his band was performing at the time.

“I didn’t care if he wanted to be a part of it or not. I felt that I had to redeem, to make amends, because I still couldn’t believe I had had an abortion,” Presley wrote, as per People.

“I thought, I’m going to have this child. There is a child I need to be having.”

She continued, “I would be talking to the lost child, saying, ‘I’m so sorry, I can’t believe I f–king did that. Please forgive me and stay with me until I get pregnant again.’”

After two weeks, Presley got to know that she was pregnant with Riley, who was born in May 1989.

In the memoir, Elvis Presley’s daughter admitted “trapping” Danny with the pregnancy, writing, “I didn’t really mean to, but I did.”

Lisa Marie and Danny’s marriage lasted from 1988 to 1994.

Joan Vassos finds true love on ‘The Golden Bachelorette’

The recent episode of The Golden Bachelorette brought the heat as Joan Vassos, 61, took 11 remaining suitors on a revealing group date.

The evening began with a surprise visit from former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, 39, who introduced three original Chippendales dancers to help the men prepare for a striptease.

“I’m so nervous,” Chock, 60, admitted. “This is my biggest fear.”

However, when Kaitlyn announced that the proceeds would benefit Stand Up to Cancer, the men’s attitudes shifted.

“The instant change in every one of our attitudes was, ‘Oh, let’s get this going,'” Mark, 57, said.

Dressed as cowboys, teachers, and construction workers, the men took the stage, showcasing their moves.

Jonathan, 61, broke out with a solo Army-themed performance, ripping his shirt open for Joan.

Pascal shot a money gun, Charles L. exceeded his own expectations, and Chock impressed with his “booty moves.”

Joan was thrilled. “I thought this would be uncomfortable, but I was totally wrong. They knew it was for something important.”

At the afterparty, Joan thanked the men and shared a heartfelt moment with Chock.

Chock inquired about Joan’s mom’s health and their connection.

“I need to see more of you, and I believe there could be a future with us,” Joan told Chock.

Chock agreed, “I’m crazy about you.”

Joan awarded Chock the date rose.

“Chock is the first person I can see a future with since John passed away,” she confessed.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers accuse Government of leaking case

Sean “Diddy” Combs legal team challenges government

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has taken a bold step in his ongoing case by filing a motion for an evidentiary hearing, accusing the government of working with the media to harm his reputation and damage the trial’s outcome.

The motion, as reported by Variety, outlines several instances that Combs’ lawyers claim are part of a “government scheme” planned to sabotage a fair trial. They are now seeking various remedies, including disqualifying certain witnesses or even dismissing the entire indictment.

One of the central allegations in the memorandum involves the leak of footage from 2016, which allegedly shows Combs assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

Combs’ attorneys argue that neither Ventura nor any third party is likely to have leaked the footage, given the circumstances.

Ventura, they note, did not reference the video in detail in her recent sexual assault lawsuit, and a third party would have likely tried to profit from its release. Instead, they believe the government is the most likely source, pointing to the timing of the leak as suspicious.

Additionally, the defense is questioning the nature of the searches conducted at Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Florida earlier this year.

The searches took place in broad daylight, which they argue was an attempt to draw maximum media attention.

According to the memorandum, reporters were already present at the Los Angeles location before crime scene tape was even set up, suggesting that the Department of Homeland Security may have alerted them in advance.

Riley Keough on Lisa Marie Presley’s dry ice decision for Benjamin Keough’s body

Riley Keough has come forward in support of her mother Lisa Marie Presley after the latter received backlash over her decision to keep her late son, Benjamin Keough on dry ice after his death.

“If my mom were here, she’d be like, ‘Yeah, whatever. I don’t care. If people think that’s crazy, they can go f— themselves,” Riley, 35, shared with People on Wednesday, October 9, talking about her mom’s choice to keep Benjamin’s body ahead of his burial in Tennessee in 2020.

Riley further said, “The truth is that it was COVID and the plans to bury him were really unclear,” adding that the family “needed to get to Graceland, and it was really hard because it was COVID, and we didn’t know who was going to come, so there was a lot of planning that needed to happen.”

The daughter remembered how Lisa wanted Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27, to be “in her control,” and kept him close to herself.

“She didn’t want his body to be somewhere where people could mess with it,” Riley added. “We come from a family that’s pretty high profile, so I think she ultimately just felt like she wanted to be in control of the situation.”

Al Pacino recalls ‘unbelievable’ casting in 1972’s ‘The Godfather’

Al Pacino reminisces on ‘The Godfather’ casting

Al Pacino’s casting in director Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 masterpiece, The Godfather was almost “unbelievable” for the Hollywood legend.

The star, taking to his new memoir Sonny Boy, detailed on what he felt being casted in one of his most famous roles of Michael Corleone in Coppola’s classic crime hit, based on the Mario Puzo novel of the same title.

Pacino wasn’t the name the studio considered first to cast in the role of Michael, the son of mob boss Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando), but Coppola had other plans.

In his memoir, Pacino recalled being casted in the movie that became an Oscar-winning classic, pulled two sequels and is still considered a benchmark for great movies.

“My relationship with the director who would change my life began oddly. Francis Ford Coppola had seen me on Broadway, and wanted to meet with me about a role. So I flew to San Francisco and for the next five days and nights, he took me to dinner and we talked about his film project over bottles of wine,” the star wrote in his memoir, as per text shared by People.

“I thought Francis had been touched by genius. He was a leader, a doer, and a risk-taker.”

He further penned, “But I was an unknown, and the movie that Francis wanted to do with me got turned down everywhere. And I didn’t think I’d ever hear from him again. Months went by, and then one day, I got a phone call. On the other end of the line was Francis Coppola.”

“First he told me he was going to be directing The Godfather,” Pacino added. “I thought he might be fantasising. I had read Mario Puzo’s novel, which had become a big hit; it was a huge deal for anyone to be involved with it. Then Francis said he wanted me to play Michael Corleone.”

“I started doubting whether he was on the phone at all. Maybe I was the one going through a nervous breakdown. For a director to offer you a role, over the phone, not through an agent, and this role of all roles — that was a hundred-million-to-one shot,” the 84-year-old seemed to reminisce.

“I didn’t even think of it as a shot, because I didn’t believe it. Who was I, to have this fall into my lap?”

He continued, “When I finally hung up the phone with Francis, I was kind of in a daze. Paramount didn’t want me to play Michael Corleone. They wanted Jack Nicholson. They wanted Robert Redford. They wanted Warren Beatty or Ryan O’Neal. In the book, Puzo had Michael calling himself ‘the sissy of the Corleone family.’”

“He was supposed to be small, dark-haired, handsome in a delicate way, no visible threat to anybody. That didn’t sound like the guys that the studio wanted. But that didn’t mean it had to be me.”

Pacino further described that at the time, “Paramount had already rejected Jimmy Caan and Bob Duvall. They rejected Brando, for Christ’s sake.”

“It was quite clear that they didn’t want me either. But here’s the secret: Francis wanted me and I knew that. And there’s nothing like when a director wants you.”

The multiple award winner also shared who he went to first to share the news.

He recalled, “When I knew I had the role, I called my grandmother to tell her. ‘You know I’m going to be in The Godfather? I’m going to play the part of Michael Corleone.’ She said, ‘Oh, Sonny, listen! Granddad was born in Corleone. That’s where he’s from.’”

Pacino didn’t know where his “grandfather was born, only that he came from Sicily”. Learning about his Corleone origins, he “thought” of his grandfather who could “help” him in preparing for the role.
