Sofia Vergara wasn’t too impressed by Adam DeVine’s improv on Modern Family.

In a recent interview with People Magazine, the Pitch Perfect alum recalled when he first joined the cast in season 5, the creators encouraged him to improvise to keep things fresh. But his attempt to go off-script with Sofia Vergara didn’t quite go as planned.

“It was the first scene, I go in and I improv a little something with Sofia Vergara,” DeVine, 40, recalled. “I remember she just had a blank [expression] and looked over to the producer village where all the producers sit and she just goes, ‘What?’ She was so confused by what the hell I was doing because it wasn’t part of the script.”

After that, he was kindly asked to stick to the script.

“Steve Levitan, one of the creators, came over and said, ‘Remember when we said you could improv? Let’s not do that anymore,’” he added with a grin.

Despite the mishap, DeVine cherished his time on the show, especially his close friendship with co-star Sarah Hyland, who played his on-screen love interest.

“She’s a good friend,” DeVine shared, noting they frequently stay in touch. “I’ll throw a party every fourth of July, and she comes to those, and we go to each other’s birthday parties when we’re in town,” he revealed.

The actor also worked with Hyland on Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin and affectionately referred to her as his “work wife,” alongside Rebel Wilson.

BTS star Jin stole the spotlight from Sabrina Carpenter.

Earlier this week, the Espresso hitmaker took to her Instagram to share highlights from her Short n’ Sweet tour, which Carpenter, 25, kicked off on September 25.

“Hartford, Boston, Baltimore—aka the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard! Maybe [heart eyes cat emoji] see you tomorrow, Philly!” she captioned the carousel. However, fans were more thrilled to spot Jin, 31, in the crowd.

Among the montage of photos, one snapshot featured a fan holding a poster that read “Short n’ Sweet Platinum Princess” in one hand while recording the show with her mobile in the other. That fan had a photocard of Jin visible through her transparent mobile cover.

Eagle-eyed fans flooded Carpenter’s social media post’s comments about Jin’s appearance at her concert.

“Jin oppa, what are you doing here? [laughing emoji],” one fan wrote.

“Jin photocard on slide 11! [series of crying emojis],” another noted.

“Visited the account because of Seokjin’s photocard! [laughing and purple emojis],” a fellow fan among the BTS ARMY commented.

“THE GREAT MUSICIAN KIM SEOKJIN IS HERE! [series of red heart eyes emojis],” a fourth user exclaimed.

“People wondering why Jin is in the comments… ARMYs carry PCs in their phone cases,” a fifth fan explained.

The oldest member of BTS was released from his mandatory military service on June 12 and has since embarked on several projects. Most recently, he is starring in Run Jin, a spinoff of Run BTS.

Princess Eugenie talked about her life in Portugal, which is far from the royal family in the UK. 

The 34-year-old, along with her husband Jack Brooksbank, is currently spending most of their time in Europe because Brooksbank is working on a beach resort project with Meldman’s Discovery Land Company.

The couple, who have two sons—August, three, and Ernest, one—started dividing their time between the UK and Portugal in 2022.

Eugenie has shared insights about her life in the sunny country, highlighting how precious their beach time is for the family.

Speaking of her sons, she told Hello: “They love swimming!

“The sea in Portugal’s a little bit rougher. So we’ve got our feet in, but Augie is a fish. He literally loves it and we have whales and dolphins all across the walls.”

She discussed a book – The World’s Wildest Waters – that her oldest son adores.

“We’ve got a book which is backed by Blue Marine Foundation – I see it every morning when Augie’s eating breakfast, and he’s like, ‘Mama!’ and then we go through it.

“The children have to find the creatures in the pictures and the next page is all the facts about the cuttlefish, or the Great White shark or the seal. And Augie loves it.”

Her comments come amid growing speculation the Duke of York’s daughter could look to return to the UK from Portugal.

A source told the Daily Express: “Eugenie is adamant that she wants to head back to the UK on a more permanent basis and use the villa in Portugal as a holiday home.

“They are very close to their families and all like spending lots of quality time together with the children. Jack’s success has given them the freedom to fly back and forth between two countries and provide the boys with a loving and close-knit family unit.

“Jack’s company doing so well makes it easier for them to head back to England on a more permanent basis.

“They [the family] are currently spending a lot of time in Portugal and as the boys get a bit older, they are looking for kindergartens near to their London home and eventually schools in the UK.”

The King’s niece spends her time on the Iberian coast living at a luxury golf and ocean club worth a stonking £3.6million.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to have stayed at the resort and visited Eugenie after the Invictus Games.
