‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ released in theatres on October 4, 2024

Where most of the fans and critics are unhappy with the endgame of Joker: Folie à Deux, Oscar winning actor Joqauin Phoenix, who played Joker, has found warmth in the film’s ending.

The ending scene of Joker 2 that turned out to be the most controversial one and became the talk of the town has now received an appreciation by the man himself.

In conversation with IGN, Phoenix broke his silence on the controversial and said: “There’s a warmth in that [death] scene, which is nice.”

He went on to say: “That’s all that I was thinking about that I was after, is here’s this young man who’s telling me a joke and he’s nervous to tell me the joke, I can tell that he’s nervous, and I’m going to hear him out. And it’s a pretty good setup.”

Joker 2 ending scene has shown Arthur Fleck, who has found guilty for all the murders he committed in the previous film, being killed by another inmate of him at the Arkham Asylum, reported Dexerto.

Director Todd Philips also agrees with the Grammy Award Winner’s thought and says that “I think Joaquin is so beautiful in that scene. It’s such a small nothing. I mean, beyond the death thing.”

He continued saying in support of the scene: “That moment where he’s looking at the kid and he’s kind of giving the kid a polite laugh in the setup. He’s showing appreciation for the comedy and appreciation for putting yourself out there.”

The fans of ‘Joker’ did not have the same kind of positivism as the actor and director of the film had.

Joker: Folie à Deux released in theatres on October 4,2024. It didn’t received the kind of appreciation and applauds the makers were expecting.

Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried to star in Lionsgate’s ‘The Housemaid’

Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried are all set to join hands on the big screen for a psychological thriller.

The fellow actresses are set to lead in The Housemaid, a film adaptation of Freida McFadden’s best-selling novel of the same name.

Directed by Paul Feig, who is known for his work on Bridesmaids and A Simple Favor, the psychological thriller will be brought to life under Lionsgate’s banner.

Sweeney will take on the role of Millie, a young woman eager for a new beginning when she lands a job as a housemaid for a wealthy couple, Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew. However, as the official synopsis hints, “Millie soon learns the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.”

“I’m thrilled to have The Housemaid join our upcoming slate,” Adam Fogelson, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chairman, said in a statement, as per Deadline.

“A great filmmaker and a great cast with a great script from a great book is a terrific place to start. My prior work experiences with Paul and Amanda have been nothing short of spectacular, and Sydney is as talented and compelling as can be.”

Erin Westerman, the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-president, also shared his thoughts.

“Part of the fun of the book was imagining the cast while we read it, and Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried are perfect for Millie and Nina — they’re both mysterious, nuanced, and incredibly skilled at becoming characters who don’t reveal everything right away,” he said.

Hailey Bieber steps up as Justin’s ‘protector.’

Hailey Bieber is making a bold statement amid growing speculation about her husband Justin Bieber’s past relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

On Monday night, the 27-year-old model posted a throwback photo of Justin on Instagram, where the pop star, now 30, flips both middle fingers in the air.

She sees herself as Justin’s “gatekeeper,” especially as their family grows, following the birth of their son, Jack Blues Bieber, in August.

Shirtless and in board shorts, the image was simply captioned “mood” by Hailey.

The post comes as Justin’s former connection to Diddy faces renewed scrutiny, with resurfaced videos showing a then-15-year-old singer spending “48 hours with Diddy.”

These clips have gained attention as troubling allegations continue to emerge against the embattled rap mogul.

According to an insider who spoke to DailyMail.com, Hailey shared the post to send a message about how she feels in the midst of the controversy.

She sees herself as the protector of her husband especially as rumors swirl around his past relationship with Sean Combs.

A source close to the couple told DailyMail.com that Hailey’s recent Instagram post was her way of expressing how she feels about the ongoing situation, rather than how Justin himself might feel.

Interestingly, the model’s choice of photo—a 2017 shot taken before Justin briefly reunited with his ex Selena Gomez—has raised eyebrows.

“Out of hundreds of photos of Justin giving the middle finger, she chose one from that specific time.”

However, the source hinted that she might be overstepping. “Hailey needs to let Justin act for himself instead of using an image to convey what she feels he should be saying,” they said.

“But the truth is, Justin really has no voice right now, and it’s sad.”

Jenna Fischer on cancer battle and ‘The Office’ star Angela Kinsey’s cancer support

Jenna Fischer, The Office star, recently revealed battling cancer, and gushed about how Angela Kinsey was the one always by her side.

“For a long time, she was the only person in my workspace who knew,” Fischer wrote about her co-star, with whom she also hosts the Office Ladies podcast, in an Instagram post in which she announced her breast cancer battle.

“When I lost my hair, she wore hats to our work meetings so I wouldn’t be the only one,” the actress added about Kinsey, who she said “protected me and advocated” for her during the tough times.

“When I needed a break, we took one. I am so lucky to have a career with this kind of flexibility. Cancer treatment requires a lot of flexibility. For a gal who likes to plan, that was a hard adjustment. But, continuing to work has brought so much joy to my life during treatment.”

“Triple positive breast cancer is an aggressive form of breast cancer but it is also highly responsive to treatment,” Fischer wrote in the caption of the same post.

“In January, I had a lumpectomy to remove the tumor. Luckily my cancer was caught early and it hadn’t spread into my lymph nodes or throughout the rest of my body, however because of the aggressive nature of triple positive breast cancer it still required chemotherapy and radiation to be sure it didn’t return,” she recalled.

“In February I began 12 rounds of weekly chemotherapy, and in June I started three weeks of radiation. And while I continue to be treated with infusions of Herceptin and a daily dose of Tamoxifen, I’m happy to say I’m feeling great.”

The ABC sitcom star shared that she was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer last December but is now celebrating being cancer-free after undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is reportedly still a threat even in prison, an insider source issues warning.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly got away with heinous crimes for a long time because of the power he held in the industry.

An insider source shared that people are still scared of him even when the accused rapper is currently serving time behind bars at the New York detention centre.

“He’s so powerful. Everyone was afraid to cross him. Even though he’s behind bars now, he’s still so powerful. We all knew it even back then,” the insider told People Magazine.

They added, “Everyone always chalked it up to being a creative genius when it came to his obsession with controlling things.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested last month on the charges of sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and engagement in prostitution.

The 54-year-old musician has been denied bail twice, while he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

“He’s incredibly smart,” continued the insider, adding, “He knows a lot of people, and he’s helped a lot of people — so a lot of people owe him. He knows that.”

They alarmingly remarked that the Last Night rapper “is capable of a lot — much more than people think, even now.”

Since the arrest, 120 victims have come forward with allegations against the Bad Boy Records founder, 25 of whom were minors at the time of alleged abuse.

Texan Attorney, Tony Buzbee, is set to represent the victims against Diddy and has encouraged more potential victims to speak out.

Meanwhile, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers have denied all the accusations as he awaits trial.
