Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have seemingly adopted a new way of life as their ‘professional split’ continues. 

For the unversed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made it to the headlines due to their solo appearances.

Harry was seen in New York City, London and recently in South Africa attending several philanthropist events.

On the other hand, Meghan made a head-turning appearance at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles without her beloved husband. 

Now, royal commentator Phil Dampier told The Sun that the Montecito couple embraced this “new normal” of life. 

He shared, “In the last couple of weeks we’ve got used to seeing Harry flying solo, so to speak.”

Moreover, the royal author said that Harry might have been feeling like a ‘spare’ with a ‘dominant’ wife Meghan.

“He’s been in New York. He’s been in Africa. He’s been over here in London, and it’s fairly obvious that he’s decided to spread his wings and branch out and do things on his own,” Phil said. 

“I think she came across as the dominant partner, and perhaps he felt a little bit like a sort of spare part, or sort of bolt on accessory, if you like, and I think that’s probably rankled with him a little bit,” the royal author remarked. 

Phil shared that the Duke has decided to do things differently which proved during his latest solo outings. 

Meghan Markle may have been hinting at new era for the Sussexes after making a striking appearance with a hidden message.

The Duchess of Sussex made her first solo appearance, embracing her independence, amid husband Prince Harry’s ongoing South Africa tour, which he reportedly extended by a “few more days.”

Meghan surprised the public as she stepped out for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala on Saturday, October 5, in her fiery red Carolina Herrera dress, which held a special significance when she wore it the first time in 2021.

The former Suits actress originally debuted the dress with Prince Harry as the two attended the Intrepid Museum’s Salute To Freedom Gala – marking their first appearance after stepping away from their senior royal positions.

Signalling her new beginning, Meghan shared the meaning behind choosing her daring look at the time in the couple’s Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

She revealed the bold colour represented that she was no longer bound by royal palace dress code to “blend in” and not wear the same colour as Her Royal Highness, the late Queen Elizabeth II, or that donned by another more senior member of the royal family.

“Most of the time that I was in the U.K., I rarely wore colour,” Markle said in the doc. “There was thought in that.”

She continued, “I’m not trying to stand out here. So, there’s no version of me joining this family and trying not to do everything I could to fit in.”

Now, it appears that Meghan may have made another statement after choosing to upcycle this particular dress, especially as rumours of the couple’s ‘professional separation’ have been swirling.

Royal experts have also suggested that Prince Harry is launching his “new image” as he takes on solo engagements to promote his charities.

For her most recent look, Meghan ditched the long train and let her hair down, literally and figuratively. This could have been a poignant sign that the pair is indeed headed down separate paths, even if only for professional reasons.

Although, The Sun reported that pals are growing concerned as the pair appear to be “drifting apart” after six years of marriage.

Another insider suggested that “Harry and Meghan’s enterprises will now be running side-by-side rather than jointly” but they will make joint appearances in foreign visits and other charitable events.

Halle Berry shared what is special about her “relationship” with Van Hunt.

“This is the longest relationship I’ve ever been in in my whole life,” Berry revealed in a conversation on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast on Monday, October 7.

“I can’t get past three years. We celebrated when we hit four years like we had been married 20 years, that’s how big it was for me personally,” she added, talking about relationship before and her current four-year romance with Hunt, 54.

“We both were scared,” she said about making the love go further than three years.

“He was waiting for the shoe to drop, and I was waiting to drop the f—ing shoe. Because I just can’t get past that. It’s been such a relief, like, ‘OK, yes, I can do this relationship thing.’”

Berry further praised Hunt, calling him her “person” and she just “know[s] it,” adding how “[he’s] calm and he’s what I’ve been dreaming of, searching for, needing.”

The actress also revealed why all her relationships ended after three years and why it’s not going to be the same with Hunt.

“There was something about it that felt wildly familiar, but I realised that I had just gotten into things for all the wrong reasons, and it always became clear to me what those wrong reasons were at about three years,” she shared with Shepard, 49.

“But because I got into this thing with Van in a different way, that feeling never came because I didn’t get into it for the wrong reasons.”

Chrissy Teigen is all praises about her life with husband John Legend.

“We are genuinely best friends. We like being together, we like being with each other. We have the same sense of humour,” Teigen, 38, shared with Us Weekly at ChainFEST LA on Saturday, October 5.

“And also I learn so much from him all the time. He has a way,” she said. Teigen also shared why she thinks her husband “should have been a teacher.”

“He has such an incredible way of explaining things that are complicated for me to understand in a really easy way, in a fun way, and he’s obviously, then if he’s good at doing it to me, he’s great with our kids doing it. So I think we really balance each other out nicely.”

She continued, “I love arts and crafts and he loves the physical and the brainy stuff, so he’s out there playing football with them, in the pool with them, and then I do the more artsy, artsy craft stuff. So, just a good balance.”

The couple, who got married in 2013, are parents to children kids Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 20 months, and Wren, 15 months.
