Meghan Markle ‘planning’ new strategy as Prince Harry relives ‘old times’

Prince Harry appears to be doing well for himself as he continues his charity work sans his wife Meghan Markle in the UK and in South Africa.

According to a royal expert, Meghan and Harry may be adopting a new strategy which focuses more the couple’s individual venture.

After attending the WellChild Awards in the UK, the Duke of Sussex headed to South Africa as he made a memorable appearance, passionately highlighting the work of his charity in Lesotho on Tuesday.

“They’ve been uncontroversial and he hasn’t given any interviews,” royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News. “Perhaps something is being planned that we are unaware of.”

Fitzwilliams continued, “His next docu-series for Netflix on polo apparently doesn’t feature him much, so what we’re waiting to see is how this will be developing in the weeks and months.

“Perhaps this is part and parcel of a new strategy as Meghan develops her cooking side on Netflix, and Harry does more solo work.”

It appears that King Charles’ younger son was reliving his ‘old times’ the way he used to work while he was still a senior working royal as he engages in his work, according to the expert.

He observed that it was “very interesting” to see Harry involved in charitable activities, all of them solo and they have all gone “tremendously well.”

Harry is currently in Lesotho, South Africa, to promote his charity Sentebale, aimed at supporting children and young adults with HIV/AIDS, which he cofounded with Prince Seeiso.

“It’s been very interesting – in New York, he for several days was, and then he was in London for the WellChild Awards,” he said. “And he’s been involved with that for 15 years, so it was rather like old times to see the way he acted with the children, with the families and so forth.”

The rock band was formed in 1964 with members Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Syd Barrett, Richard Wright

Pink Floyd has struck a monumental deal, selling their music catalogue, name, and likeness to Sony for a reported $400 million.

The U.K.’s Financial Times first broke the news on Tuesday, Oct. 1, noting that this landmark sale allows Sony to profit from not only the band’s music but also future merchandising opportunities, television spin-offs, and potential films.

However, the sale did not include the rights to their songwriting, as only their recorded music rights were part of the agreement.

The iconic progressive rock band was founded in 1964 and originally consisted of Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and the late Syd Barrett and Richard Wright. David Gilmour joined in 1967.

According to reports, Pink Floyd had been seeking buyers for at least two years and engaged in talks with other major players like Warner Music, BMG, and Hipgnosis before finalising the deal with Sony.

This deal stands as one of the largest of its kind, with Variety referring to it as a major moment in a growing trend.

Similar notable sales include Justin Bieber’s $200 million catalogue deal and Katy Perry’s $225 million music sale earlier this year. Sony also made headlines with its purchase of Bob Dylan’s catalogue in 2022, further solidifying its dominance in the music world.

Inside Martin Short, Meryl Streep’s ‘budding romance’ on and off screen

Rumours have been circulating about a potential romance between Martin Short and Meryl Streep, costars on the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building

According to a friend, the two have known each other for years but have grown closer since working together on Season 3. Streep joined the cast as Loretta Durkin, a struggling actress and suspect in a murder investigation.

A friend revealed, “Meryl loves Martin’s energy and enjoys his company.” Despite official denials, insiders claim a budding romance.

An insider who witnessed their chemistry at Santa Monica’s Giorgio Baldi noted, “They appeared to be more than friends.”

Both Short, 74, and Streep, 75, are single, with Streep separated from artist husband Don Gummer for over six years and Short having lost his wife, Nancy Dolman, to cancer in 2010.

A friend shared, “Martin doesn’t feel guilty about moving on… He only feels a bittersweet guilt that he’s still here enjoying this new brush with fame and Nancy isn’t here to enjoy it with him.”

The pair allegedly find the rumours amusing. The friend added, “They get a huge kick out of the rumours. They think it’s hilarious.”

The friend confessed to rooting for a love connection, saying, “They flirt with each other, so who knows where it will lead? They’re both single, and they do make a really cute couple.”

cancer-stricken girl breaks silence on unforgettable meeting with Princess Kate

Budding photographer Liz Hatton has shared heartfelt details of her meeting with Kate Middleton at Windsor Castle.

The 16-year-old, from Harrogate in Yorkshire, told the Today program on BBC Radio 4 about the moment she was hugged by the Princess of Wales after an investiture ceremony hosted by Prince William.

“There was no sort of grandeur about them, there was just humanity and kindness,” Hatton spoke about the future Queen.

Hatton has been diagnosed with a desmoplastic small round cell tumor, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She has also been told she has between six months and three years to live.

Hatton said it was “a massive shock” when Kate and William walked into the room at the Castle on Wednesday, October 2.

“None of us were really expecting it necessarily — except for my little brother apparently!” added Hatton.

Hatton had been invited by the palace to capture the investiture on camera, as part of a series of unforgettable experiences. She and her family then met the royal couple privately.

“Talking to them was amazing ‘cause it was like talking to anyone, like just a normal person. There was no sort of grandeur about them, there was just humanity and kindness.”

Prince Harry praised for his life-changing decision amid royal health crisis

Prince Harry, who’s visiting South Africa without his wife Meghan Markle, has been praised for “deflecting from the failures” of his professional endeavours with the Duchess.

A royal commentator has claimed that Harry is “certainly happier without Meghan.”

“I’m from the school that believes that Meghan’s never, ever going to come back to the UK, and thank God she’s never coming back,” Rae told GB News.

The expert praised the Duke for his decision to take solo engagements, saying: “It’s nice to see Harry again back doing what we like Harry to be doing.”

Rae also revealed that the Duke is “not going straight back to California”, but instead is carrying on to Johannesburg.

He said: “It is great to see him coming across to the UK, doing WellChild, which he’s been linked with for 16, 17 years. He’s in Lesotho with Sentebale, the charity started to honour his mother, and he’s not going straight back to the to California, he’s going to Johannesburg for more charity works.”

The commentator also highlighted a big change in Harry’s behaviour, adding: “He looks great, he looks smiley – every time he’s been with Meghan on his recent visits abroad, he’s looked sad with no smile. Meghan’s the one that he’s playing second fiddle to.

“I think people are fed up of their togetherness, of what they have done. They’re fed up with the constant harping on about the cruel Royal Family that drove them away. He needs a venture to deflect from the failures, and these are it.”

Turning the discussion to Harry’s potential success as a solo professional away from Meghan Markle, Rae went on saying that he “doesn’t need” deals with Netflix and Spotify to fund his life in California.

“He’s not short of a bob or two – he’s got plenty of money in the bank. He doesn’t need Netflix, he doesn’t need Spotify. If he just carries on doing these sorts of things, people will take to him again and see how he’s just a great guy,” the commentator added.

Rae also shared his knowledge and experience about the ongoing royal rift, saying  that the distance between Harry and his father and brother “will not take a short time” to heal.
