Prince Harry unable to ‘charm his way back’ into royal fold

Prince Harry unable to ‘charm his way back’ into royal fold

Prince Harry is seemingly mirroring his old life again as he takes on his charity work with the same confidence which he held as a working royal.

The Duke of Sussex left his senior royal position back in 2020 with his wife Meghan Markle to carve out a more independent role.

While there have been speculations over Harry’s possible return to royal duties as cracks seem to appear in the years-long royal feud, a royal expert believes that The Duke’s return is not possible despite his successes.

“He wanted to be half in and half out of the Royal Family,” Royal expert Phil Dampier told The Sun.

Prince Harry attended the WellChild Awards in the UK and the next day, he headed to Lesotho to promote his charity Sentebale, earning praises for his work.

Dampier suggested that Harry wanted to “have his cake and eat it too” as he began reconnecting with some of pals in UK.

The expert shared that he wanted to keep his “attachments to the military, where he was attached to certain units and certain patronages and certain charities as a royal” while also be able to return to the US to commercialise things.

However, the late Queen Elizabeth made it “perfectly clear” that it was not possible. And despite Harry’s charismatic appearances, the royal won’t be able to woo his way back into the royal fold.

“He can’t start doing jobs that would see him sort of slowly coming back into the Royal Family,” Dampier explained. “You can’t have members of the Royal Family exploiting it for cash, basically.”

“I think we’re just going to see him occasionally come back for these one-off events with charities that he’s very deeply involved with, and that’s it.”

“Although swimming is a vital life skill and the only sport that can save lives, almost one in three children in the UK currently leave primary education unable to swim,” the statement continued.

“The Royal Foundation recently convened people from across the swimming sector to share their expertise, helping us shine a spotlight on the importance of access to swimming in local communities.”

The announcement comes just a few days after Prince Harry returned to the UK to attend the WellChild Awards, a charity he has been supporting for the past 16 years.

After making a memorable visit in his home country, Harry headed to South Africa to promote another charity in Lesotho, garnering praise for his meaningful work and impact on the local community.

Kate Middleton, Prince William release joint statement after Harry, Meghan’s ‘split’

Kate Middleton, who finally returned to the public life, has issued a joint statement with her husband Prince William amid reports of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘professional split’.

The Princess of Wales appeared in high spirit during her latest appearance at an event at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, giving fans a reason to celebrate.

Royal fans and commentators welcomed positive news about Kate’s return to royal duties, but some felt a sad touch as she seemingly held back her tears while meeting with a cancer-stricken girl.

In a joint statement, released with William and Kate’s photos by the Prince and Princess on Wales’s social media accounts, the royal couple said: “A pleasure to meet with Liz at Windsor today. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both.

They concluded: “Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us. W&C”.

Kate and William’s outing and statement comes after Harry hailed for his decision to  begin his latest solo engagements in southern Africa, after making a brief appearance at the WellChild Awards in London on Monday.

The Duke, according to experts, looked happy during his “professional split” with Meghan. Some commentators hailed Harry for “deflecting from the failures” of his professional endeavours with his wife, the Duchess of Sussex.

Lana Del Ray gushes over new husband Jeremy Dufrene: ‘One and only’

Lana Del Rey, 39, is basking in the joy of newlywed life with her new husband, Jeremy Dufrene, 49, an alligator tour guide.

Following their wedding on Thursday, September 26, the couple spent quality time together in Louisiana.

A fan-captured video of their interaction was shared on Instagram, where Del Rey herself commented.

In the comment section of the video, posted on Sunday, September 29, Del Rey expressed her thoughts on paparazzi before gushing about Dufrene.

“All that being said Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we’re very happy,” she stated.

Contrary to the appearance of a swift romance, Del Rey and Dufrene have actually known each other for several years.

According to a source who spoke to People magazine on Friday, September 27, “They initially met a few years ago the first time and then reconnected earlier this year.”

The source described their relationship as a “whirlwind romance” that has worked for the couple.

The source praised Dufrene, saying, “Jeremy is different from the men that Lana meets in the entertainment world. He’s a great guy. He’s charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman, and he treats Lana really well. She’s an old soul.”
