Olly Murs opens up about heart-wrenching guilt of leaving newborn daughter

Olly Murs reflects on fears of missing his baby’s birth.

Olly Murs has opened up about the anxiety he felt regarding the birth of his newborn daughter, Maddison, due to his work commitments.

The Troublemaker singer and his wife, Amelia Tank, welcomed their baby girl in April, and as they navigate their new life as a family of three, Olly has discussed the challenges of balancing fatherhood with his busy career.

In a heartfelt conversation on Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast Happy Mum Happy Baby, he revealed that he initially feared he might miss the birth.

“We were almost of the opinion that I might not be there, so I needed someone to be with Amelia,” he said.

However, he found a silver lining in the situation when Amelia underwent an unplanned c-section, which ultimately gave him more time to prepare for the arrival of their daughter.

“I thought, ‘Do you know what? We’ve got time now to prepare and get ready for that,'” he shared, highlighting how the experience brought a surprising sense of positivity amid the uncertainty.

Murs shared how the unexpected timing of his daughter Maddison’s birth allowed him and his wife, Amelia Tank, to better prepare for their new arrival.

“It gave us time to prepare a little bit better,” he explained, noting that if the birth had been natural, it could have come two weeks early or late.

However, even though he was present for the birth of his first child, Olly faced the emotional challenge of leaving her and their newborn just minutes after becoming a father to perform with Take That on their UK tour.

“Yeah, that was hard,” he admitted. “I knew Mila’s mum was there, which always gave me comfort, but I also knew Amelia was on her own.”

With a heavy heart, he pushed through, saying, “If I overthink this, I’m going to cry my eyes out all the way to the gig.”

Ultimately, he told Amelia, “I’m really sorry, babe, but I’ve got to go,” showcasing the difficult balancing act of juggling his family commitments with his career.

Princess Anne has claimed the title of the hardest-working royal in 2023, according to an analysis by The Telegraph.

The Princess Royal topped the list with an impressive 457 public engagements, surpassing her brother, King Charles, who came in second with 435 engagements.

The Duke of Edinburgh followed in third place, completing 297 engagements.

In her years of dedicated service, Anne has mastered the art of public outings. During a 1985 interview with Terry Wogan, she shared an interesting strategy to ensure her engagements run smoothly.

When asked how she comes up with fresh conversation for each person she meets, Anne likened it to “market research.”

She explained, “You can ask everybody, literally everybody, the same questions,” highlighting her unique approach to connecting with those she meets.

Anne offered further insight into her efficient approach to public engagements, revealing a clever strategy she employs during her royal duties.

“You have three questions for that afternoon, and you ask everybody the same questions,” she explained.

“And with any luck, it shortens the time involved… but it doesn’t always happen.”

This method not only helps her navigate her busy schedule but also ensures she remains engaged with the public.

Additionally, she shared her thoughts on the royal tradition of opening new buildings and sites.

“I’m very short about it. I don’t say a lot,” she admitted. “It’s more, ‘I’m very much looking forward to seeing whatever it is I’m about to open’—or words to that effect.”

Her straightforward approach reflects her no-nonsense attitude and dedication to making each engagement meaningful, even if it’s brief.

With her impressive work ethic and practical strategies, Princess Anne continues to set a high standard for royal engagements.

Kristin Cavallari not coming into ‘dating world right now’

Kristin Cavallari shared that she has “no interest” in “dating” someone “right now”, after split from ex-boyfriend, Mark Estes, and is “really happy” with her life.

“I have no interest in getting back into the dating world right now. I also don’t know how much time I have for dating,” Cavallari said on a new episode of her podcast Let’s Be Honest.

“When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids and that’s changed,” she added, hinting at a change in custody arrangement with ex-husband Jay Cutler.

“So I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and my work,” Cavallari continued. “Happiness for me is peace and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it.”

“I’m a homebody. I really am. Being home and cooking and having friends over, those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”

Joker: Folie à Deux is all set to release in theatres on October 4

As the release date of Joker: Folie à Deux heads near it has left fans wondering whether Batman will be showing up in the new film or not.

With the new Joker movie, the makers are bringing in the old characters of Harvey Dent and Harley Quinn.

Therefore, naturally it makes fans sceptical if the makers will bring in Batman who will finally take down the clown once and for all.

But simply it does not likely look that it would feature the superhero because if seen logically, Batman has premiered as a child in the previous two joker movies.

In Joker 2019, there is a seen where Arthur, played by Joaquin Phoenix, can be seen interacting with Bruce who at the time was around a 10-year-old millionaire boy which means that the concept of Batman has not been introduced yet.

However, the trailer does give a hint that Batman might come but for now Joker: Folie à Deux will take viewers in the time when Bruce Wayne is just a boy, reports Dexerto.

Meanwhile, the new film Joker: Folie à Deux featuring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga is all set to hit theatres on October 4, 2024.
