Leslie Grossman won’t mind meeting her ‘Monsters’ character Judalon Smyth

Leslie Grossman, who portrays the character of Judalon Smyth in Ryan Murphy’s true crime series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story, on Netflix, got candid on what she thinks of meeting the real-life Smyth.

Judalon Smyth is an important character tied to the Menéndez brothers’ case.

She was the mistress of Dr. L. Jerome Oziel, the psychologist who treated Lyle and Erik Menéndez after they murdered their parents. Judalon’s involvement became critical when she reported to the police that the brothers had confessed to the killings during their therapy sessions.

Her actions and the recorded tapes from those sessions became key evidence in the investigation and trial.

“I really don’t have a strong opinion about it one way or the other,” Grossman shared with People about meeting Smyth in person and having a conversation with her.

However, she also clarified that she is not against it as well.

“If Judalon reached out and wanted to meet me, I would be happy to talk to her,” she told the outlet.

“I also completely understand this is people’s real lives, right? And they maybe would like to not engage with that and that’s fine too.”

The 52-year-old actress added, Grossman, 52, “I don’t have some strong need to connect with a person that I played. But if they really felt strongly about meeting me, I’d be definitely open to it.”

Oliver Hudson was helped by mom Goldie Hawn amid mental issues

Oliver Hudson got candid on the mental health issues he faced in the past, and how his mother Goldie Hawn was a great help in overcoming them.

“In my 20s, I had a panic attack. I didn’t know what the hell it was,” Hudson, shared with Us Weekly on Friday, September 27, at the Goldie Hawn Foundation 20th Anniversary Gala with MindUP.

“It started off this year’s journey of self-discovery as to why I’m feeling this.”

Hudson mentioned that he started looking for answers from medical professionals after experiencing a panic attack.

He underwent several tests and spoke with doctors, who ultimately assured him that he was “fine.” However, he credited his mom, Goldie Hawn, for being his biggest support during his struggles with mental health.

“My mother was instrumental in helping me understand that because she went through it herself at the same age,” he explained.

“She was doing a TV show but dealing with her own s—, going back to her apartment, drinking tea. Cannot see anyone. She would throw up if she went on the sidewalks and [went] out in public.”

After getting to know all this, Hudson understood he had the same problem.

“I was able to take from her the wisdom that she was able to impart on me and utilize that in my — I wouldn’t call it recovery, but in my ability to get out of these feelings to the second part,” he told the outlet.

Ariana Grande addresses disturbing scenes in Nickelodeon shows in Quiet on Set doc

Ariana Grande has recently made shocking revelations about inappropriate intimations in her Nickelodeon scripts during her docuseries, Quiet On Set.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the singer confessed she pushed the memories aside but the docuseries opened up multiple allegations of improper conduct on Nickelodeon shows.

The documentary reflected on disturbing scenes that “sexualized” young stars, including those from Ariana’s own sitcoms, Sam & Cat and Victorious.

“You don’t remember some of it, and then it’s thrown into this compilation in this thing, and you’re like, “Wait, that happened? I can’t believe that!” she told the outlet.

Ariana stated, “The most important thing we can do is focus on making the working environment safer for all performers and artists—even musicians.”

While addressing challenges of fame, Ariana noted, “If you’re going to sign to a major label and your life’s going to change the way that mine did, there should be therapy in the contract.”

“You should have support on the mental side because it’s not normal,” pointed out the 27-year-old.

Ariana added, “Nothing can really prepare you for what comes with this amount of visibility.”

Meanwhile, the songstress and actress discussed about the series on Penn Badgley’s podcast Podcrushed earlier in June.

“A lot of people don’t have the support that they need to get through performing at that level at such a young age, but also dealing with some of the things that the survivors who have come forward…there’s not a word for how devastating that is to hear,” she explained.

Ariana believed, “I think that the environment needs to be made safer if kids are going to be acting, and I think there should be therapists, I think there should be parents allowed to be wherever they want to be.”
