Princess Kate’s mother Carole Middleton moved to tears after her husband’s brutal swipe at their son James, according to a new report.

Kate’s brother James, in new biography, has reflected on his testing time at school which left his mother distraught and his father lamenting the cost.

Carole Middleton was in great pain as she became concerned about her son’s education. James’ parents discussed whether their son’s £32,000-a-year education was worth the sizeable fee they were paying.

He studied at the prestigious Marlborough College in Wiltshire, the same school his sisters Kate and Pippa went to.

In his memoir titled ‘Meet Ella’, James explained the sad moment when his father said the private education was a “waste of money.”

He went on sharing the heart wrenching moment of his mother, writing: “Meanwhile, I do so badly in my final school exams that my poor mum is reduced to tears. Dad says my expensive education has been ‘a waste of money’.

“After a year of resitting my A-levels, I scrape into Edinburgh University with the minimum permitted grades.” Speaking to The Times, James added: “Mum and Dad just wanted the best for me.”

The outlet added: “Today Middleton studiously avoids criticising his school or his beloved parents — he learnt valuable survival skills at Marlborough, he tells me.”

Donna Kelce gushed over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance at son’s premiere.

Travis Kelce’s mother made an appearance at the premiere of the athlete’s acting debut, Grotesquerie, on Monday at New York City.

Talking about her son’s relationship with the Eras Tour performer, she told Page Six, that she finds it “kind of interesting.”

“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good,” she said of Travis. “He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she.”

The couple has full support of Donna, and she hopes “they’re having a good time.”

When asked for her comments on the tight end’s drama series, she said, “Oh, it’s so awesome. Just to be able to see your kids do what they absolutely love to do, and hopefully this is something he likes! I know he wanted to try [acting], so we’ll see how it goes.”

Mama Kelce has been spotted supporting the sportsman in many of his games, including the NFL season opener earlier this month, where Donna honoured both, football player and Anti-Hero hitmaker by sporting a custom baseball cap embroidered with holly sprigs and white cosmos.

Notably, the selected flowers refer to Taylor and Travis’ birthday months, December and October, respectively. 

Doja Cat, 28, clarified her relationship status with Joseph Quinn, 30, on Twitter, dismissing engagement speculation.

She wrote, “No, im not engaged its a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it.”

The tweet responded to rumors sparked by a photo of Doja Cat wearing a silver ring on her ring finger at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

The singer and Quinn were previously spotted holding hands in London on August 17.

Footage obtained by Deuxmoi showed Quinn with his arm around Doja Cat and their hands locked together.

The Paint the Town Red singer involvement with Quinn began in 2022 when Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp revealed she slid into his DMs to connect with Quinn.

“Noah can u tell Joseph to [hit me up]. wait no. does he have a gf?” she asked Schnapp, now 19.

Following the private exchange, Schnapp posted their conversation online, leading Doja Cat to respond publicly.

“To be fair this is like a kid, I don’t know how old he is but he’s not even over like 21,” Doja said in July 2022 TikTok Live. “When you’re that young you make mistakes, you do dumb s—, you say dumb s—, you f— up relationships with people, you make mistakes like you’re supposed to so you know not to do it in the future.”

“But the fact that Noah did that is so unbelievably socially unaware and wack,” she continued. “That’s like borderline snake s—… that’s like weasel s—.”

The legendary actor, 98, has canceled his upcoming appearance at the FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention.

In a statement posted on X and Facebook, the convention announced, “We are sorry to announce that Dick Van Dyke is not able to travel to FanX. He expresses his gratitude to all of those who support him but, at almost 99 years of age, traveling and interacting with thousands of people is more than he is able to do at this time.”

This cancellation comes after Van Dyke missed the 2024 Emmy Awards, where he was scheduled to present.

However, he attended the 2024 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 7, where his birthday special, Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic, won outstanding variety special (pre-recorded).

Van Dyke spoke to reporters, “I hope to be remembered for making people laugh for 75 years.”

He offered advice to upcoming actors, “You have to stick with it. You’re gonna go through hard times and a lot of auditions … but you have to stay with it. Be patient if you’ve got the confidence in yourself, and it’s very important to believe that you can do it.”

Van Dyke recently became the oldest Daytime Emmy winner, taking home best guest performer in a daytime drama series for Days of Our Lives.

He shared with People magazine, “This nomination is very exciting; after all, it took me 75 years and my pal Drake Hogestyn to get on a soap opera! He is really the reason this happened and deserves the credit and thanks.”
