Prince William, Kate Middleton receive sad news about ‘valued member’

Prince William and Kate Middleton received sad news about a close acquaintance, who played a big role during one of their royal engagements.

The Prince and Princess of Wales penned a heartfelt note to offer their condolences to the grieving family.

Peter Morris, who was a 47-year-old father of two, died from cancer in May, just weeks after Kate made her shocking announcement about her health condition.

The pair had met Peter during their April last year as they bought 12 pizzas from his food truck in Ebbw Vale, South Wales, to feed the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team while visiting Dowlais Rugby Club, Merthyr Tydfil, according to The Sun.

In the letter, William wrote, “We can only begin to imagine what an immense hole he will leave in your life and my heart goes out to you and your family.”

He added, “Catherine and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Pete. We know that Pete was a hugely dedicated and highly valued member of the community which has been evident from the response to his passing.”

He concluded the message with, “I did want you to know just how much you and your family are in our thoughts at this time.”

Peter’s widow, Tracey, told The Sun that the letter came as a “massive surprise” but understood that her husband’s passing “may have hit a chord with them because Kate is going through treatment.”

Queen Camilla’s son shares her favorite family dinners.

Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, recently shed light on his mother’s strict approach to their diet while growing up.

In an article for You magazine, he praised the Queen for being a “naturally good cook” and reminisced about some of her favorite family recipes.

However, Tom revealed that there were certain foods off-limits during his childhood, as his mother maintained a firm stance on nutrition.

Reflecting on her culinary prowess, he shared, “She is a naturally good cook, everything from roast chicken and pork chops to tarragon chicken, smoked sausages in cream, and asparagus drenched in butter.”

He also fondly recalled her “serious scrambled eggs” and “mean cheese omelette.”

The family enjoyed fresh vegetables from their garden, game hunted by his father, and fish caught on family outings.

“The fridge was always full of good snacks,” he added, highlighting the balance between indulgence and healthy eating in their household.

Tom opened up about his culinary upbringing, sharing fond—and funny—memories of family meals in a recent interview to promote his new book.

Reflecting on his father Andrew Parker Bowles’ unique cooking method, he recalled, “My father’s one recipe involved steak cooked in a wire toast rack on top of the Aga.

The room would fill with smoke, and the top was coated in burnt fat. But it did taste very good indeed! My mother, who had to clean it up, was less impressed, and it was soon banned.”

Speaking about the strict dietary guidelines of his childhood, he noted, “We grew up eating locally, seasonally, and organically—way before those terms became buzzwords.

My mother shopped at the butcher, fishmonger, bakery, and greengrocer.”

He reminisced about the excitement of the local Sainsbury’s opening in Chippenham in the early ’80s, describing it as a colorful transformation akin to The Wizard of Oz.

Tiffany Haddish opens up about strange fan interaction nearly 11 years ago

Tiffany Haddish has recently shared strange encounter with one of her fans amid her divorce from William Stewart in 2013.

Speaking with PEOPLE at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 21, the Girls Trip star revealed she could not forget “the oddest and most disrespectful” thing a fan once wanted.

The comedian recalled she was asked to pay “pay a six-figure tab for a stranger’s wedding”.

“Their wedding was going to be 10 times the price of mine,” said the 44-year-old.

Tiffany mentioned, “Their wedding was like a $100,000. I said, ‘If y’all can’t afford the wedding, you shouldn’t get married already.’”

The comedian and actress told the outlet that she had no idea who the person was.

“I just finished my divorce, and you going to ask me this?” she quipped.

Tiffany opened up that she had just finished filming a movie at the time, for which she made $80,000.

“The government took a portion of that, and then I got to pay the agents, the representatives. I barely got enough to make my damn mortgage,” she stated.

Tiffany also disclosed that she was asked to “officiate a couple’s wedding” whom she never met.

“I don’t know either one of them from nobody. I would do it if I knew them, sure. But it was a little strange to me,” she explained.

Elsewhere in the interview, Tiffany discussed about newly released single, Woman Up, which was written by Diane Warren.

“What I love most about the song is that it is literally the internal conflict that I have with myself on a daily basis,” she spilled.

Tiffany added, “I want to create and I want to bring joy to others, and I feel like this is a good way. This song is a good way to say, ‘Hey, it’s hard days, yes, but get up and get out there. Woman up.’”
