Simmone Jade Mackinnon shares emotional journey.

Simmone Jade Mackinnon has opened up about her struggles after experiencing fame in the early 2000s.

Rising to prominence with her role in the American series Baywatch: Hawaii from 1999 to 2001, Mackinnon returned to Australia to star as Stevie Hall in the beloved drama McLeod’s Daughters from 2003 to 2009.

Despite her successful television career, Mackinnon faced financial difficulties after the show ended, leading to panic attacks and hair loss.

Currently, she finds herself living in a caravan with her 13-year-old son after stepping back from the entertainment industry and facing financial challenges.

She shared her struggles on Nine’s reality show The Summit, where she competes for a chance to win a $1 million cash prize that could potentially change her life.

Mackinnon has revealed that the past three years have been exceptionally challenging for her, leading to severe anxiety and hair loss.

The former star disclosed that consecutive panic attacks over a week resulted in significant hair loss, prompting her to shave her head.

She described losing her hair as a major psychological blow and admitted to withdrawing from society, hiding away from everything and everyone for years.

Mackinnon’s romantic journey included an engagement to Jason Momoa, though their relationship concluded after six years.

Momoa shifted his affections to actress Lisa Bonet, leading to their separation.

Dylan O’Brien recalls cringeworthy ‘Frozen 2’ audition experience

Dylan O’Brien recently appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers, where he shared a hilarious story about his failed audition for Frozen 2.

O’Brien confessed that he didn’t have high hopes for landing the role, saying, “I didn’t go in thinking I was going to get it because I knew that I probably wasn’t going to get it.”

He didn’t disclose which character he auditioned for but acknowledged that the film required multitalented individuals who could act and sing.

“They’re looking for multitalented, multi-hyphenate people who can act and sing,” O’Brien explained. “And I didn’t check, to be honest, probably either.”

The Teen Wolf alum admitted, “I can’t sing.”

Despite this, O’Brien decided to audition because he doesn’t “always feel like a real actor.”

Meyers wondered how long it took the casting director to realize singing wasn’t O’Brien’s forte.

“This poor woman,” O’Brien replied. “I remember, actually — this is a specific detail — she asked me, painfully, if I could get to the chorus because she needed to see if I had a certain range.”

O’Brien admitted he struggled with the first verse but attempted to reach the chorus.

“I was swimming in the first verse a little bit,” he said. “And then I went higher, and it was really bad.”

O’Brien recalled the casting director’s polite but clear rejection, “She said, ‘Thank you for coming in. I think we’d probably need a bit of a stronger singer,’ and I was already just nodding, going, ‘Yeah, I know.'”

Despite the embarrassing audition, O’Brien looks back on the experience fondly.

“I honestly only remember it fondly,” he said.

Meyers quipped, “We wanted you to have closure. Don’t you see, Dylan?”

O’Brien responded, “It’s made me comfortable, actually. I’m serious!”

Prince Harry reclaims spotlight from Prince William in new outing

Prince Harry paid a heartfelt tribute to a notable figure in his new public appearance, seemingly taking the spotlight from his brother Prince William after his Scotland trip.

For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex attended the star-studded event One805LIVE! Concert which was hosted by Kevin Costner. The program aimed to raise funds for the Santa Barbara County First Responders and also paid tribute to the police officials for saving people’s lives in need.

The former working royal took the stage of the event and honoured the helicopter pilot Loren Courtney.

As reported by People magazine, Harry said about the air support pilot, “As you’ve probably heard already, 22 years [of] military service over 10,000 hours and rarely sees his family because he’s always here flying helicopters.”

In response, he said, “I do this because I love doing it and I love doing it for the county of Santa Barbara. It’s a rewarding experience whenever we go out, either putting out fires or rescuing somebody in the back country or medical evacuations from vehicle accidents or doing the law patrol, keeping citizens safe.”

Notably, Harry’s appearance came after his estranged brother made the headlines due to his passion project Homewards.

Demi Moore shares how growing up has changed her perspective on parents

Demi Moore is now able to reflect back on the problematic aspects of her childhood.

The Substance actress shared rare insights from her childhood in a heart-to-heart conversation at The Drew Barrymore Show.

Talking about her childhood, the 61-year-old actress revealed that her parents let her drive a car before she could get a license at 13.

“Driving on the freeway, I mean, my parents would say, ‘Okay, here’s the deal. You can take the car. If you get stopped, you just have to say you took the car without permission.’ And they kind of saw that is a win-win for everybody, but that is lunacy,” she told the host.

The Ghost actress and Barrymore confessed fact that they “were both more the parent to our parents.”

This is not the first time Moore has opened up about what she now sees as a disturbing childhood.

In a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she shared a glimpse of a drug overdose incident that her mother Virginia had in the actress’ childhood.

“The next thing I remember is using my fingers, the small fingers of a child, to dig the pills my mother had tried to swallow out of her mouth while my father held it open and told me what to do,” Moore recalled.

The Disclosure actress told Barrymore that she is no longer angry at her parents and can love them despite recognising their faults.

“I accept that my parents did the best they could, and my mom did the best she could with the level of consciousness and awareness that she had at the time,” she said.
