Prince Harry ‘very upset’ to miss out this year’s royal Easter tradition

Prince Harry was seemingly struck with blues as the royal family marked Easter Sunday by attending the church service.

However, the Duke of Sussex, who has loved the Easter tradition of the royals, would be feeling a tad bit sadder to miss the celebration this year, per royal author Tom Quinn.

The royal family has had rough past few months given the shocking health crisis of their most senior members. King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February, meanwhile Kate Middleton announced her cancer new two weeks ago.

Quinn told The Mirror that how Harry would be feeling especially with his growing kids, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, never having experienced the royal tradition.

“The Royal Family traditionally meet on Easter Sunday at Windsor for a service in St George’s Chapel, followed by a brief walkabout and then a very traditional lunch of roast lamb,” the author explained.

“Harry always enjoyed this tradition because he got to meet an adoring public for a short period. But what’s really going to upset Harry this year is that his children will miss out on the Easter egg hunt that takes place afterwards.”

Dating back to Queen Victoria, Quinn shared that Archie and Lilibet was have missed the chance to bond with their cousins, the Waleses children.

Prince Harry’s estranged brother Prince William shares George, 10, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5, with Kate.

Quinn noted that the “family rift is going to prevent” the children bonding and Harry “will feel it keenly.”

However, for the Easter service this year, The Wales family was not in attendance as they deal with Kate’s health revelation. Meanwhile, King Charles made his first formal public appearance after his cancer news alongside Queen Camilla.

Other members of the royal family in attendance included: Prince Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Edward and Sophie along with their two kids.

Why King Charles skipped Beatrice’s daughter celebration but honored Harry’s birthday

King Charles recently made headlines by celebrating his youngest son, Prince Harry, on his milestone 40th birthday with a heartfelt post on the Royal Family’s official social media channel.

However, the same fanfare did not extend to Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, who turned three on Wednesday.

While the Duke of Sussex received a warm birthday wish from the King, Sienna’s special day passed without any public acknowledgment from the Royal Family.

This decision may stem from Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s desire to keep their daughter out of the limelight and maintain a level of privacy for their young family.

As royal watchers speculate on the contrasting celebrations, it’s clear that the family is navigating the balance between public duties and personal choices in their approach to royal life.

Princess Beatrice is known for her low-key approach to social media, seldom sharing images of her daughter which reflects her desire for privacy.

In contrast, Harry received public birthday wishes from both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace on September 15, marking a significant moment for the Duke of Sussex.

This year’s celebration was particularly noteworthy, as it was the first time in two years that Buckingham Palace acknowledged Harry’s birthday in its posts.

Speculation among royal watchers suggests that this change may stem from a decision made by the late Queen Elizabeth II, who reportedly chose to publicly recognize the birthdays of non-working royals only when they end in a zero.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested on September 17 and denied bail twice

Moses “Shyne” Barrow, former Bad Boy rapper turned politician, is breaking his silence following the arrest of his ex-mentor, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

During a press conference in Belize, Barrow, who is now the Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives, accused Combs of ruining his life.

“When I was an 18-year-old kid, just wanting to do nothing other than make my mother proud,” began Barrow. “I was defending [Combs] and he turned around and called witnesses to testify against me. He pretty much sent me to prison,” he claimed.

Their history dates back to 1999, when Barrow was convicted of first-degree assault for a nightclub shooting in New York that left three people injured. Combs, who was also implicated, claimed self-defence and was acquitted of all charges.

However, Barrow served nearly a decade behind bars, being released in 2009 before his deportation to Belize.

Barrow continued of the disgraced mogul, “This is someone who destroyed my life, and who I forgave.” He explained that he did so for the “better interest of Belize” so the country could benefit from Combs’ investment and contributions to education.
